My introduction to video games was the Nintendo 64 I got when I was 5, closely followed by a Game Boy Color.

I didn't get a Playstation, though I wanted one. But I had friends who owned one so I didn't completely miss out. I got a gamecube the next generation, but I didn't get a PS2 for the longest time and would stare at its library of games in the video game store, envious that I couldn't play them. I got a PS2 about a year or so before the PS3 came out, but I'm glad I did. Meanwhile I did get a Gameboy Advanced and later a Gameboy Advance SP.

I didn't get a DS until the lite version came out. I was apprehensive about getting one in the first place since I noticed alot of people breaking the hinges of theirs, and since I'm kinda clumsy, I didn't want to risk it. Thankfully the Lite version has sturdier hinges (in my opinion). A while later the touch screen sadly stopped functioning properly and I got a DSi (ultimately I kinda wish I'd gotten another lite). I still use my old DS for my Gameboy Advanced and Pokemon games though.

Seeing as Nintendo systems were my first, it didn't take long for me to get a Wii.

I got an Xbox 360 because there was a game I badly wanted on the system and I splurged. Stupid decision, I barely play the thing. I still strongly dislike Xbox and I expect I always will. The game itself however, was worth it, and is the only thing keeping me from selling the blasted console.

I kept hemming and hawing over whether or not to get a PS3. But my parents asked what I wanted this past Christmas and it was practically the only thing I could think of. They got it for me, and DAMN I'm happy they did.
