What GRBY sprites do you think is the best?

Generally, I see a lot of talk about which of GRBY/Gen I's Pokemon sprites were the worse, with many different opinions.

But maybe instead of finding the sprites you find to be the 'worst', why not take a moment to appreciate some things in the games by saying which sprites you find to be the best or simply like for something different?

I have to admit that as much as I love Gen I, there are some sprites that I'm not too fond of, but I do have my favorites. I've personally always liked Blue's Nidoqueen, Blue's Dragonite, Green's Porygon and Green's Mewtwo.

I guess I could also say that the majority of the Pokemon sprites in Yellow were also good. Not all, but the majority of them. They were a vast improvement. (Especially Moltres' sprite...)

I always found Pidgeot's RB sprite intimidating.

Haunter in RB used to scare the crap out of me.

Also liked Scyther in RB.

TENTACRUEL DOES NOT APPROVE.

The sprite for Nidoking in Yellow made me want to use one.

Those are my favorites.

I like the articuno sprite in R/B, it looked so majestic and awesome. Machoke was pretty sweet too.

I really thought the gastly line and Articuno were great in generation one.

Figured I'd bump this with my favorite yellow sprites.

He lost his other big claw, but he somehow managed to look cooler.

This sprite reminds me of A.J.'s awesome Sandshrew.

Farfetch'd looks ready to kick ass.

Looks like Electrode took a bottle full of prozac.

I thought nearly every sprite in Yellow was immaculate.

Gen I Scyther was a total boss, RB Mew is also one of my favorites. Yellow also had some great sprites for the time as well, better than many of the G/S sprites.

Though hated by alot of people, I though Omastar's RB sprite was great (probably because he was the most beloved part of my original team):

Exeggutor's Yellow Sprite was so good they used it in another Generation:

- Green. I love the way that the wings are so big.

- Yellow. After his, he only got retarded poses.

- Yellow.

- Yellow. He looked somewhat evil in this one, the rest he only looks retarded.

- Green. To be honest, I love all Oddish sprites. And specially the shiny in GSC.

- Red/Blue. All of Gastly-evolutionline sprites looked good, when they turned purple instead of black, they just ruined it. In my option. :3

Yellow Raichu is very good. Naturally, the only Gen I game that Raichu actually looks good in is the game where it is unobtainable. :disgust:

This is arguably the best-looking sprite in all of Generation I.

This is cute for a Mew sprite.

This is also one of the best sprites in Generation I.
