What is your favorite and least favorite starter Pokemon

Piplup. It's absolutely adorable and it finally evolves into a royal penguin made of steel. Water/Steel is outstandingly original and Empoleon, with its aesthetically pleasing and brilliant looking steely black wings, depicts this type combination very well.

I have fond memories about using this starter in Pokémon Platinum.

What are your honest thoughts on Prinplup, design wise?

Favorite: Oshawott, because it was adorable in the Best Wishes anime, nearly the only actual Pokemon character (as in the Pokemon themselves) in the series that I actually legitimately liked as a character. I'm not as much of a fan of its evolutions, but they're passable and that tends to be how I feel about most starter evolutions anyway so I can't really knock Oshawott for that. Popplio is in a somewhat close second, though.

Least Favorite: Tepig. Easily. There's something about it that just irritates me in a way that no other starter does. It even somehow gets even worse as it evolves, which is saying a lot with how much I dislike the base form. Emboar is one of my least favorite Pokemon in the entire series.
