It's the middle of August right now and my favorite season of Summer is in full swing! There are many artists who write songs to fit the season, especially for the summertime. On these hopefully beautiful, hot days what are your favorite songs to listen to cool off or enjoy the sunny weather more?
 
Well Down Under by Men At Work really reminds me of summer. But that's because it is extraordinarily Australian and Australia is synonymous with thongs, heat, hats with corks suspended by them and watering holes that are favoured by Blinky Bill. So you're really getting the whole package.

From there... anything by Elvis, I guess. It's a childhood thing. Also Free Falling by Tom Petty, Diamonds by Rihanna and Laid Low by The Naked and Famous.

Now, winter is easy. That'd be Baby It's Cold Outside and I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm. (y) They're both very fun to sing when the hail is shattering your eardrums.
