what new battle mechanics do you want to see in future ganerations?

I'm confused. Do you mean to have all player actions take up the turn (like with items) or have them do an action in the same turn as the pokemon's attack (like with mega-evolving)?

Have the trainer tyake an actiaon which shares a turn with their Pokémon's moves like Mega Evolution. Of course, NPCs would also utilize this, mostly important ones such as Rivals, evil team Admins and Leaders, Gym Leaders and E4 + Champion.

I'd love to see more duel type attacks in the future. I love the idea behind Flying Press and think if more attacks got a second type it would be great, although Game Freak would have to be careful to not make it game breaking by giving some already strong attacks a second type that would highly benefit it. Maybe by cutting the power of the STAB of these attacks by haft or something.

They would have to be very careful about which types they combine to prevent those attacks from being OP. For instance, if they made a Water/Grass type move it would destroy any sort of Rock/Ground type that is unlucky enough to be hit by it.

Speaking of new attacks, can we have more moves like Freeze Dry? There's quite a few types like Normal and Dragon that don't have any useful type advantages that can't get them for some reason or another (Normal because it's a default type and Dragon because many of its members are legendaries or pseudo-legends).

Petrification as a Status Effect, basically like Frozen, but the Pokemon is turned to stone...also Ghost-Pokemon can now be hit by Normal and Fighting attacks as they are solidified, and Flying Pokemon are grounded. Fighting attacks free them, but does double damage on the hit, but doesn't factor type effectiveness. And Limber also now prevents Petrification as well as Paralysis. Petrification could be caused by a "Medusa Pokemon", "Basilisk Pokemon", or a "Cement Pokemon".

Also thought it and Frozen could have an additional effect, where Petrified Pokemon have a small defensive boost while petrified, and frozen Pokemon have a small sp. defensive boost when frozen, so they aren't as unfair for the victim. Also the "Ghost Pokemon are solidified and Flying Pokemon are grounded" would apply as well, and when Fire attacks hit a Frozen Pokemon, it does double damage on the hit (not taking in their actual Type).

Well, scald should be like freeze dry, it should be super effective against icy types. Also, acid should be super effective against steel.
Also, speed should be divided into moving spees and reaction speed. Specia lmoves would have speeds too. Ex: water gun would be slower than thunderbolt, so thunderbolt hits first. A move that makes contact would use reaction and moving speed. Special moves would use their speed + the pokemons reaction speed.

Evasion is pretty much reaction speed.

Some sort of Trainer-based affinity level towards each Type, perhaps influencing how often you encounter certain Pokemon of that type, how easy it is to catch them, how quick you bond with them, etc. Maybe some Pokemon only appear when your Affinity towards that Type is at a certain level.

- buff and create more terrains.
(buff also weather: duble weather , harsh weather that wears off but is used by regular pokes through abilities+moves, or twice used moves or abilities.)
- make more something like Trick room but for ghost (not speed based, maybe more magical based for fairy, ghost, dark, dragon psychic).
- maybe let Field react more to moves, affect evasion, make sometimes extra damage)

-Maybe make defense based moves more usefull
(the nomal rise of stats + take only half of damage in the turn they are used in)
Iron defence (should it protect from poisoning in that turn???)

-Take more time into making old moves better: Teleport(create in battle effect)+ creating some new one.

- modify freeze status.

-Maybe create Sweeper cathers or blockers? Full defence destroyers (KO by 10% through physicall contact)?

- Pokemon that would be immune to all physical moves/attacks.
(dark/psychic; electric/poison gas monster; fairy/ghost centaur)
- Pokemon that would be immune to all special moves/attacks.
(dragon/ghost, skeleton; flying/ground sand monster; water/grass aligator )
(they could loose hp 1/5 each turn on the field, or be more like supporters)

They would have one status point in the status that gains the immunity= a Mold Breaker user could easy take it down.
They would be natural good counters for Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Gengar.
They would make perfect sense for the physical and special split.
They would not be broken, the amount of moves they resist is twice smaller then Wonder Guards and at a level compared to a pokemon with regular 3 type immunities, or 2 type immunities and a ability based type immunity (like Gengar and Aeigislash have respectively.)

-Under Water and Sky battles: could they use the mechanic from double battles(the space for 2 pokemon) for 1vs.1 to make pokemon real avoid hits and attack the same turn(could go up and down too)

-chess battle field in the regular series with moving pokemon, even 1 vs.1, speed also used to move on field (10x10) and moves would work on range (specified distances, from 1 to 5).

- for pokemon Pokken Tournament: use of battle fields, 4 move slots, more like Stadium mixxed with Mortal Combat anime style.
(not attack after attack , not the wild west/anything goes, but you attack, oponent can defence, avoid and counter.)
