What requirements need to be met in order for Chloe to be considered a main character?

Sadly the cost of such a large cast. Even Ash only had 4 Pokémon the majority of the saga.

1. Catch/evolve a Pokémon
2. Find a goal in life
3. Have Ash actually acknowledge you
4. Be involved in the main plot in some way
5. Use a Pokémon in a fight (I can't remember if Chloe fought even once outside of TR encounters)

Chloe used Yamper against Gengar before Ash caught it, and she used Eevee against a wild Rhydon. That’s it though.
