I can't get myself out from the hole of playing Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri for the past many days.

Gaians and Spartans are objectivelly the best fraction. "Green" Economics is soo much better than the others. "Democracy" is suprisingly usefull, as well.
Forget it, imagine that you have:
No negative police bonus
The Virtuall World and Network Nodes in most bases
Recreation Commons and Hologram Theatres
Positive Probe bonus

But even through all that effort, those dang Drones just can't help but Riot. How do I keep myself from not Nerve Stapling them? LOL.

Final Fantasy X
Just defeated Nemesis and Penance last night after multiple tries. Now I just need to get the last two primers, finish the Celestial weapons, and grind out the sphere grids for the last 4 characters, which will be a challenge.

I'll rest from Final Fantasy Explorers and see if I can finally complete Final Fantasy II. *sigh*

Imagine a situation like this:
You're fighting an enemy of yours for years. All of his bases are conquered, except for this one, small bastion. You surround the said bastion with numerous battleships, Clean Shard Copters, Singularity infantry Squads, everything you have is thrown against his small defence of a couple of poor, untrained Chaos infantry.
But you leave the guy with a choice. You step inside the War Room, and ask for his commlink frequency. He answers, and you see his holographic face, starring at you with his calm eyes.
You open your mouth to speak, but he cuts in before you say a word. And what does he say?

"Colonel Santiago, the evil fraction of Peacekeepers has done me many harm. Will you agree to join forces with me, and pronounce a Vendetta upon the Peacekeepers?"

"No."-You reply, and open your mouth again to give him the conditions under which he shall be spared, but he cuts in again.

And what does he say?

"Nothing personal, Colonel Santiago, but this planet simply isn't big enough for the two of us. I shall ruthlessly crush your faction, and bear pleaseure in executing you in person."

The commlink is closed. You sigh and facepalm.

The next couple seconds later, the leader you've fought against is captured, and his last bastion lies in ruin.

That pretty much summarizes 90% of my gameplays of Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
There are a couple rare moments your enemies agree to pledge a Pact to serve you in exchange for peace. But that's extremely rare.

After going back to hell Final Fantasy II, I'm not sure if keep going or if I should go back to Final Fantasy Explorers. On one hand, I have had Final Fantasy II for more than ten years and I have not been able to complete even the pre-Soul of Rebirth content. On the other hand, that stat system was made to spite the player and torture them with how random it gives you stats, except HP since thankfully they are not that cruel. *sigh* I guess the faster I'm done with it, the better.

Back in MH4U, G-rank Gore Magala finally gave me a Mantle. Now I can upgrade that Shagaru S&S from end-high-rank to mid-G-rank tier. And I still want to beat all those High Rank event quests. Mostly for completionist sake, but I also need another Gold Guild Ticket to upgrade one of my event weapons.

Just survived a grinding session in Final Fantasy II. I wonder who designed a system that works against the player and makes you gain stats completely randomly. I have tried to cheat the system but it doesn't work. I'm starting to think that Satan himself programmed the game.

On the other hand, I have accidentally maxed out Agility with both Firion and Guy, Spirit with Firion (he's my White Mage/Warrior hybrid) and I'm in the process of maxing intellingence with Maria. And Gordon is just... there. Oh, and I also defeated Kashuan Keep's boss. I just want this game to end...

Went back into playing Splatoon 2 and oh boy, do I have catching up to do, got the three Splatoon 2 Inkling Amiibos as well as getting the Octoling Amiibos, I just haven't opened them yet because I'm expecting to get a new cupboard/shelf with door/whatever I use to display them without them collecting dust to put them in.

Tales of Berseria.
Inominat appeared and kicked off the last act of the game. I've defeated Melchior for now, recruited Malak #1, and made it to Hexen Isle. I'll progress the plot a bit more before doing the party sidequests.

P.S. Oscar's battle theme was great, I hope it plays again. Also, I saw his and Teresa's deaths coming from a mile away.

Dragonball FighterZ: Finished off story mode (loved that final arc btw), and then I figured I'd start out on them hardmodes. The higher level player skills'll make party raids easier, and the higher level enemies are good to unlock SSB Goku & Vegeta for use in the story mode.

I'll see if I can play some Atelier Marie later. I have always been interested in the Atelier series, but the time limit scared me. Seeing how the fan translation was finished recently, I might give a chance to the first game in the series. Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Which version/platform? And, yeah, stat-grinding systems tend to be bad more than other systems.

I'm not sure it's actually random. I think FFII was the one where your stats were based off of what you did. Hit things more to get more attack, get hit in the face more to get more defence & HP, etc.
EDIT: Yup, that's the one

Yeah, but at the same time, I do that and I end up getting Magical Defense... In a battle were that character didn't do anything or get hit by anything. Hell, one even got Strength even when I didn't do anything. Either that system is extremely flawed or the RNG is screwing with me.

EDIT: Also, I will have to come back to Final Fantasy II since I'm definitely not good at Atelier Marie.

Went back to playing more Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, still so very addictive.

Also replaying Azure Striker Gunvolt and it's sequel again, I always loved trying to get the highest scores on the stages.
