What video games are you playing now?

Tales of Zestiria: The 4th Callix was cleared easily enough. Now, I know this boss was a Tales cameo, because I'd heard of this guy and what he could do to me. This boss? Jade Curtiss. Basically, his gameplan for the first 2/3 of the battle is to basically lull you into a false sense of security by being generally pathetic, before he decides to obliterate you by busting out a Mystic Arte that basically obliterates everyone in a massive range. I'd heard that his "let's get dangerous" threshold was about 7000HP, so my gameplan was pretty much to just whale on him until getting that low, then armatise with Mickleo and shoot him from veeeeeeeeeeeeery far away. Surprisingly though, he never actually used Spirit Cage. I don't know why, but he just didn't. So I think I got off easy on that one.
The 5th Callix wound up with another dragon as the boss, but this one wound up killing me though. I mean, I think I've done pretty well to get to the boss of Callix V without losing once, but since I lost there, I figured it was about time to maybe grind up a few levels and work on some more equipment. So I went to grind on Hellions in Glaivend Basin, since they'd be dropping some topaz swords and staves for Sorey and Mickleo. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to be dropping Topaz Swords, let alone Topaz Swords with Attak, Blokk, or Plezur on them, so Sorey's still using a subpar Topaz Sword, but I did manage to get Mickleo's staff with the skills I wanted, so I went and got it sanctified into Sloreina, Rod of the Heavens.

Space Empires V: The attack on Melmac III went better than expected. Instead of a protracted siege, one turn's bombardment was enough to destroy the colony. Lessons learned there have altered my plans for Lyrae. Now I think HMS Phalanx will escort Amanda, carrying the 2nd Army and a bomber wing, to Lyrae II, bombard and invade. Meanwhile the returning HMS Thorias, Arachneon and Lazar will pick up the 1st Army and conduct a planetstrike on Lyrae I

Breath of the Wild - I'm pretty much done with it at this point. Not to say that I didn't enjoy it, but I'm tired of it now and just want to put it down. Didn't complete all of the new DLC quests, and I'm getting discouraged trying to. I completed all the quest trials and finished two shrines today. I'm calling it there.

Stardew Valley (Switch) - At Fall of year 2. I've since completed all of the bundles and restored the community center (a lot sooner than my first time playing, cause of a missed seasonal item). All that is left is upgrading the house again and passing grandpa's evaluation. I'm starting to feel a little burnt out now.

Put some time into Streetpass Mii Plaza - Market Crashers to be specific. One of the companies I have shares in keeps going down, so I'm trying to figure out what to do about it. Usually the strategy is buy-then-sell, but today I realized that in cases like these I should probably be sell-then-buy. For example, I made a day-trading profit of +5M doing just that, though it was nowhere near enough to offset the other losses (relative to purchase price).

Got back to Ultra Sun, and something rather interesting happened: after I cleared Lana's Trial, I decided to go back through it and search for some Water types to replace my Wingull with (because, even though I have some nostalgia associated with said line, it's not that good a 'mon), and I did find a Dewpider I was going to use... but I don't know if they messed with the encounter rates for this particular 'mon of if I just got lucky, but as I was fishing to see what I could get, I stumbled across not one, but two Feebas, one right after another no less!

Needless to say, I had to add one to my team after that... even if it's even worse then the Wingull it replaced. Oh, and I guess I also cleared every Trial on the second Island except for the Grand Trial, that too.

Also, I did happen to breed some Feebas if you lot want any, just saying.

Space Empires V: I don't know why I thought it made most sense for Amanda to attack Lyrae II - plainly Lyrae I is the more sensible target, so she'll be conducting the planetstrike there next turn. I think I may have Thorias, Arachneon and Lazar drop their colonists on Lyrae I rather than Freya. A final strike against Lyrae II would take a while anyway and I don't think the Sithrak are likely to have the resources to fortify it in the space of a few turns.

In diplomacy I've had something to crow about - the Abbidon Enclave have agreed to share all their technology with me for a promise of mutual defence in return - that means the very useful Physics Lvl 3, Ripper Beams Lvl 1, and Anti-Proton Beams Lvl 1 added to my arsenal. Given that, I've decided to put off bigger space stations in favour of better Point Defence Cannons, so I can do a mass upgrade of all my weapon platforms

Pokemon Ultra Sun: I did pretty much everything I wanted to do before leaving the second island (which basically boiled down to making sure I've battle everyone for that sweet EXP).
Next up was visiting the Aether Paradise.
So, the URS is apparently working with Lusamine (and have super freaky eyes, especially Zossie), so, I guess they're evil? Or don't know that Lusamine's evil? Either way things here are sketchy. Aside from that it was pretty much the same basic Nihilego encounter then off to island 3!
Now I'm on island 3
The first thing that happened was a battle with Hau, and he freakin' demolished me. A significant problem was wasting two turns since I didn't realise Sky Drop didn't work on Flying Types, so I wound up losing Freedom while trying to score a Super Effective on Dartrix. Vaporeon and Raichu then conspired to utterly demolish the next 4 team members I tried to throw at them. And then I threw out Rio and just demolished all his stuff. Seriously, this girl is living up to her name.
I'm now really pissed off that I made Freedom drop Aerial Ace for Sky Drop, since, as stated in the spoiler, I just learned it can't hurt Flying types, and apparently it also can't hurt anything heavier than 200Kg. If the TM's in the same place as SM though, I can get Fly for it in Malie Ctiy, but freakin' Lillie won't let me go any further into the city until I do the bit in Malie Garden first, so I guess it's on to that next.

Tales of Zestiria: Beat that dragon that gave me trouble in Callix V. I guess that what I really had to do was use the Wind Armatus, instead of trying to prey on weaknesses with Earth. Since the attack that was really the big problem was apparently Earth elemental, so even without countering it with a Seraphic Arte for the defence boost it didn't hurt nearly as much as it did on other characters. I also finally learned how the Wind Armatus' Seraphics actually worked. All this time I thought that Stratashield and Deep Squall were just subpar AOE attacks, but it turns out they're trickier than that. Deep Squall makes an AOE attack around you after a time delay, and Stratashield makes you invisible if you've got allies. So it turns out the Wind Armatus is one of those tricky builds you've gotta really understand to get good mileage out of.

Space Empires V: I'm beginning to wonder whether the Sithrak are really feeling the pinch now. The defences are gone from Lyrae II, leaving it wide open for a planetstrike. I've cleared away most of what's left on Melmac III, which ought to allow me to downsize the military in that system.

The objective now is to get the Gyrfalcon I-2 in production as a stop-gap ship while I research the necessary technology for the Type 1. The Type 2 doesn't quite have the necessary combat speed and is somewhat underarmoured, but there's nothing that can be done about that till I can research more powerful engines

Summoner's War... Did a whole bunch of arena. Also UM on and off.
