What video games are you playing now?

Final Fantasy II: Getting spell levels and making Leila strong. Also, the Chimera battle at the Deist Cavern was horribly disappointing, specially since you could battle Chimeras way earlier than intended without realizing that they were supposed to be a boss.

Space Empires V: The siege of Cribit XII went about as well as could be expected. I lost HMS Messenger and Excalibur, which is annoying, but nothing that can't be replaced from Eden if I really want to - actually I decided it was better to order up another Condor-class battleship instead, since for some reason Eden can build one as quickly as a Vulture-class cruiser. Keeping up the momentum I'd like to be able to deal with Cribit VI and VIA next turn.

Serendipitously, Amelia is ready with the satellites for Iridia at the same time as Yameena joins Battlefleet Blue (Sinister), so the battlefleet won't need to stay on station once it's escorted the freighters in. I've ordered the rest of the battlefleet into Spica, since HMS Arachneon briefly spotted an Eee fleet in neighbouring Quilktin. It may mean nothing, but I want ships on hand just in case

I seriously need cheats for Final Fantasy II. Deumion is going to drive me insane. No matter what I do, he doesn't give me Gordon's ultimate weapon. No matter what I do, he only gives me an Elixir. I'll try one last time tomorrow.

Dwarf Fortress
Much happened since my last report. My fortress got attacked by a titan and although it was ultimately slayed by a quickly assembled squad of swordsdwarves and subsequently turned into fortress' main food source for aproximately few years (seriously), it wasn't before it killed 30 dwarves and most of my livestock.
I spend next few days trying to bury them as quickly as possible, which led to other projects getting delayed. Some of the dead returned as angry ghosts due to not getting buried in time, but I managed to put them all to rest before they killed anyone else.
Unfortunately though it was far from the end of my troubles. Soon after I finished working on cemetery king of my nation and one of counts died at the same time, with the count's only successor living in my fortress and king having no legal successors, with another dwarf from my fortress being chosen to replace him. This means that I now have two nobles who only give me a very small morale boost and in exchange don't do any work and demand to be assigned high level bedrooms, dinning halls, throne rooms and tombs.
Now some good news. During the titan's attack I got an (ultimately unrealised) idea of luring it into my aqueduct and drowning it. Although I decided against it due to how much time redesigning the aqueduct for this purpose would take, now I finally finished the trap. Its working principle is simple: the well that takes the water from river has its upper end open to surface and has stairs leading downwards into the aqueduct. On the other end of the main pipe there is another, similar well, leading into the fortress. Between both wells there are two retractable grates, and whole thing is equipped with a draining system. When enemy attacks, I drain the water from pipes, retract both grates and close the gate preventing the water from flowing from river into my pipes. Once I close the main gates, enemy's rather simple pathfinding lead it into said pipes. Then, once the enemies are between two grates, I close them, trapping them inside, and once again let the water flow, dooming them to a watery grave.

My friend and I recently got back into Splatoon 2 a little bit. It's amazing how bad we are .and whether that's from getting rusty or from the online thing making sure less noobs go on, it kinda makes the game less fun for us. Like we always have to stop after a little bit.

Oh, and sometimes I hate the rotating stages/modes thing about the game. We only like tower control and splat zones. Rainmaker is ok but not our favorite, and clam blitz is terrible. So if league is either of those latter 2 we just resort to turn wars :/

Final Fantasy II

Finally got Gungnir. I'll advance some more the story to try out my shiny new weapon. By the way, I find it funny how Gordon is completely competent now. Sadly, in this playthrough, it's Leila the useless one. I hope that changes once I can get her ultimate weapon.

FFX - I beat Penance and Nemesis! Now the only thing I have to do is complete the sphere grid, which will take a long time to do. I

Stardew Valley - About 16 hours into this game so far and loving it. I'm almost done with the first fall season, just upgraded my house and planted some more fruit trees. This game is so wonderful!

Ace Combat 7 - On Mission 10. I love Ace Combat, and this definitely feels like a refreshing return to form after Assault Horizon and Infinity. However, it's far from perfect. I still need to play the whole game (maybe more than once) before I can give a final verdict though.

Dragonball FighterZ: Finished the Super Hard Warrior Arc, along with 100%-ing the bonus events. I tell ya, some of this stuff hits a lot harder once you've got the context from the final arc under your belt.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Started with Spyro 1, pretty fun, finished of Artisans. Camera was a li'l wonky before I got used to it. The worlds are nice and small so far too, makes it easy to find what you've missed. Sparx pointing to the nearest gem with L3 helps too.

Final Fantasy II

After realizing that I had the Gungnir for only a small dungeon (the Coliseum), I can say that Deumion is trolling me even when I do things right. Oh well, time to grind for more spells.

Space Empires V: It's a pity HMS Copper Fish isn't quite repaired, but it does leave time for a few more ships to join the fleet before finishing up operations in Cribit. It does need to be secure soon - the cruisers from the battlefleet reserve are low on ammunition, and Battlefleet Green (Sinister) could do with a resupply in Penthara.

The situation in Iridia is getting a little worrying. It turns out there are two Eee fleets in system, one of which is at anchor around the Quilktrin-Spica warp. Battlefleet Blue (Sinister) is on the other side of the war, waiting, and the the Dexter half of the fleet not far behind. I'm not sure just how concerned to be. The main fleet includes both a dreadnought and a battleship, the second fleet another battleship. I'm reasonably sure that Blue (Sinister) can tear the fleet apart as it tries to warp through, with mass torpedo strikes dealing with the biggest ships.
