I've had this account for a long time, but I haven't touched this site at all since I was like 15, and right now I'm 22. So I feel the need to make another one of these threads. A lot has probably changed since then, and I'm gonna have fun trying to figure out what's new.

Firstly, I must admit that I'm not nearly as much into Pokémon as I was back when I joined at 13 years of age. I haven't played a new Pokémon game since Omega Ruby, as I'd gotten caught up in school and a bunch of other stuff (there are also several gripes that I have with the Pokémon games, but that's beside the point). For the same reason, I haven't watched a single episode of the anime since that Meloetta arc in Black & White, but I really want to get back into that. I still have all of my cards, but I no longer know anyone who knows how to play.

With all of that being said, though, the opinions I expressed in the few replies and posts I've already made, are pretty much the same! For example, almost exactly nine years ago today, I expressed that I thought there should be a Fire/Ice-type Pokémon, and after all these years it finally came true with Galarian Darmanitan. A lot of it sounds like things that I would still say today, which I find really interesting.

Anyway, I'll try to bop in from time to time to discuss Pokémon like I used to, but I'll likely end up feeling like an old man because the Pokémon from Generation VI onward are largely totally unfamiliar to me. If there's been any major changes to the site since December 10, 2013 i.e. the last time I'd logged in before today, I wanna know!

I'm a big fan of the anime myself! Glad to hear you want to get back into watching it. <3 Honestly I fell out of watching all of BW too, seen maybe half, but really also want to get through it fully sometime. Stopped halfway into BW, didn't watch most of XY, and then picked it back up for Sun & Moon, which I saw all of and loved, and now Journeys. It's been lots of fun! Do stop by the pokeani forum to talk about it with us if you'd like o/ Welcome back to Bulba!!

Hello "Old Man", I'm a fellow "Old Woman" here! Haha. I am new to Bulbagarden, but I have been a Pokemon lover since day one!
I still collect the Pokemon cards too, and it is super fun to go back and look at the old ones I have. :]

Cool, will do! I think I'll just watch one of the newer ones without watching the rest, just to feel it out a bit.

Cool! I've only been a fan since late Gen II and I started collecting the cards since like 2007. I can probably find a fair amount of people here who also only have really been into the first five or six generations.
