Primarina was my favorite from the moment I saw the leaks. One of the best, most elegant Pokemon designs. It embodies femininity, maturity, and grace in a way I haven't seen other Pokemon do. And is also a unique take on a mermaid Pokemon, also being mixed with a selkie to keep it from being totally human. I really like the concept of her hair being tied up and then coming loose when she unleashes her full power.

That was the nice thing about Gen 7 - they really tied the starters to the concept of Z-moves quite well, and had cohesive themes overall that made them stand out.
