so many loved, overall from the two gens - Sylveon and Fennekin, Braixen, Delphox take my heart - yep, I love foxes so much

5th gen - with no new Eeveez this gen, its a tie between Zorua and Liepard for my favorite Pokemon, love them equally a lot
some others I liked included - almost all the starters (just dislike Pignite a bit), cuties of Patrat/Watchog, Lillipup/Herdier/Stoutland, the two fighting weasels MIenfoo/Mienshao, all the birds, Emolga, Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon, the two chinchillas Minccino/Cinccino


Kalos: easily all the foxys this gen easily take my heart - love their adorableness
others I like include all the fairies (Swirlix isn't in the list), all the cute felines Espurr/Meowstic, Litleo/Pyroar, birds, Tyrunt/Tyruntrum, Amaura/Aurorus

Gen V is my second favorite gen so this one I also have quite a few favorites, my top ones though are: Snivy line, Lillipup line, Munna/Musharna, Blitzle/Zebstrika, Woobat/Swoobat, Scolipede, Drilbur/Excadrill, Lilligant, Cofagrigus, Gothitelle, Zorua/Zoroark, Trubbish/Garbodor, Braviary, and Reshiram.

Gen VI: Fennekin line, Sylveon, Klefki, Skiddo/Gogoat, Pancham/Pangoro, Meowstic (both genders), Tyrantrum, Aurorus, Xerneas, and Diancie.

Spoiler: Gen V

Although Gen V was a divisive time for many fans, you can’t deny that we got some very interesting Pokémon out of it. Here are my favorites from this generation:

5. Emolga

There have been many Pikachu clones over the years. Out of all of them, my favorite is Emolga, the Sky Squirrel Pokemon. This is mainly because of her portrayal in the anime; a manipulative little trickster who often uses Attract to make others do what she wants. It’s a welcome change from the trend of other no-personality Pikachu clones (looking at you, Pachirisu!).

4. Scraggy

Scraggy has one of the coolest designs ever! He’s supposed to be like a snake that’s shed its skin. And he’s cute, too!

3. Axew

I just love this adorable baby dragon!

2. Oshawott

Easily my favorite of the Gen V starters. He would also be my favorite out of the entire generation were it not for one other Pokémon....

1. Krookodile

Aw yeah! Now we’re talking! This fat reptile right here is the definition of awesome!

Spoiler: Gen VI

Gen VI has just as many cool Pokémon as the last one. Don’t believe me? Read on. I can list four this time due to space limitations.

4. Pangoro

Does this guy look like someone you wanna mess with? No way! Pangoro has one of the best designs in Pokemon history. They made his fur look like he’s wearing a longcoat. It gives him kind of a distinguished look.
3. Hawlucha

The first time I saw Hawlucha, I thought, “Man, this is one awesome Pokémon.” I still think so. He also has one of the coolest shiny variations ever. This shiny version is sometimes thought of as an “evil counterpart”, something that’s common in the Mexican wrestling culture he’s based on.

2. Noivern

Now we have Noivern, my favorite flying type! Apart from looking like a bat on steroids, he’s also got SUPERSONIC HEARING!!

1. Greninja

Apart from Blastoise, Greninja is my favorite water type! I’m still upset that they made Ash release him, but, that’s not important right now. Water Shuriken is a cool ability that I wish I had, but I don’t because I’m not cool. All joking aside, Greninja’s arc in the anime is one of the best that it’s ever had. Even if it had to end in an unfortunate way, that doesn’t sour my enjoyment of it one bit.

For Gen 5, it’s Kyurem. Specifically White Kyurem, though I love all three forms.

For Gen 6, it’s either Trevenant or Xerneas.

Gen 5: Couldn't decide between Swadloon and Sigilyph so I voted for both. Not Pokemon that most people think of little less be their favorite...

Gen 6: Delphox. One of my favorite of all time.

I don't like a lot of Pokemon from these two generations....

Gen V:
Golurk - The moment I saw the big lug, I fell madly in love with him. This is not a joke. The design screams "giant robot" , which is something I've wanted for years. Golurk is the reason why I love Unova so much.

Golett - It's round and chubby and looks so huggable. Too cute for words!

Pawniard/Bisharp - I call these two my assassins. And they look amazing. They're even better in Kalos as Fairy control.

Sawk - One of the few pure Fighters that I like. I had a choice between him and Timburr to take down Lenora's Gym, so I went with Sawk. He was an absolute powerhouse for me.

Gen VI:
Tyrantrum - He's a T.rex. Nothing screams "Me Grimlock!" better than this guy. And his shiny looks like Transformers: Generation Two Grimlock to boot.

Generation V.

Scraggy, the anime made it my favorite because of its attitude.

Beartic because of its pose me and my best friend would make Beartic come at me bro jokes.

Zoroark cause it just looks cool.

Generation 6

Greninja, just like with Scraggy mostly due to the anime, I didn't play Pokemon Y/X until after ultra sun and ultra moon had come out, but the anime influenced my starter choice.

Malamar, again the anime and also cause I like creepy stuff. Let's be honest mind control is creepy.

Litleo and Pyroar, one is just so cute and the other one looks amazing and mighty almost like it could be a legendary also looks are just such beautiful creatures so Pokemon based on them win in my book.

Gogoat, if Pokemon were real I guarantee you I would have one on my team and it would probably be my most loyal Pokemon. It would be amazing to travel with and see the world with a Pokemon like Gogoat I think

Gen 5: SIMISAGE! He looks like a weed plant crossed with Space Dandy!

Gen 6: Greninja. The Shiny color scheme is my favorite because it actually makes him look like a ninja!

Gen V:

1. Victini - Cute fox Pokémon with tons of signature moves and a personality to boot. Instant favourite.
2. Meloetta - I'm all about the arts, having been a musician since I was 4. Love Relic Song and its switching formes ability. Innovation blew me away.
3. Chandelure - Ghost/Fire? My top 2 favourite types? An awesome design that looks spooky enough to scare you to the underworld? Y E S.
4. Krokorok - Swagger. I love a Pokémon that knows what it is good at and shows it. Krokorok checks all the boxes for me!
5. Archen - Favourite fossil mon. Adorable birb. I would hug it forever as it squawks!

Gen VI:

1. Delphox - Magical fire-type Pokémon are right up my alley. Not to mention its design is nothing short of astounding.
2. Florges - Very beautiful Pokémon. Its formes are very cool in how you can get them in different colorations.
3. Pancham - Cute Panda Pokémon are my weakness. Plus, it's super feisty too!
4. Doublade - The entire concept is so cool, but out of the line, Dimoclès is probably my favourite. Its nod to the story "Sword of Damocles" enraptured me.
5. Klefki - Cool Concept. One of the more personable fairy types out there.

 

[Kiriketsu]

Generation V: Excadrill. Such an amazing drill based mole which ranks as my favourite Pokémon of all time.

Generation VI: Dragalge. Poisonous sea dragon which looks like covered in seaweed? Brilliant.
