Got attached to Shellder back when pokémon first came around, its cool evolution became a natural favorite. I have a horrible memory of leveling a Shellder beyond belief and never getting a Cloyster. I never figured it out. :-(

My first starter. Well you chose between an aligator, a cuddly leaf thing and a burning badger, I never picked the other two.

I re-discovered pokémon a few years ago and had gen III and IV to laugh at while thinking "these aren't pokémon oh my god". Aggron was one of the few to grow a little on me, you can't argue that he isn't the very embodiment of hardcore.

Played gen IV (Platinum) first last summer, after SS, I weren't really excited for any of the pokémon. Drifblim stands out I guess.

I picked it up on my first run. Effect Spore can be amazing and I really enjoy'd the random sleeps it caused. The fifth gen's got so many pokémon I could put here, but pokéball mushroom is a personal favorite. :crush:
