What's Your Typing Speed?

Re: Whats yours typing speed? Typing tutors for everyone!

80 WPM with 98% accuracy on my little netbook. On my full desktop keyboard it's nearer to about 90 WPM, which is still quite a drop from what it used to be when I spent more time on one specific keyboard alone.

Re: Whats yours typing speed? Typing tutors for everyone!

I got 49 WPM. I'm really sure that I'm slower than that.

My speed is 27.2 WPM. ACCURACY, 93.6 % for both tests. I'm cool with that. It's not like I expected to be Yuki Nagato or Uiharu Kazari.

I'm not taking the test now, as this is a new laptop and I'm adjusting to the slightly different keyboard. But I type pretty fast, I think.

Don't need to take a test to know I'm slower than ferrothorn
45 WPM in spanish (ugh accents) and 32 in english.. Man I really need to practice more.

51 was the best I could get. I'm really slow at comprehending words then typing them, but if it's in my head I almost never have to stop. And I'm much faster.

I got 68 wpm from one of those tests. I remember playing Mavis Beacon in school as a kid and having my record be around 75 wpm. I guess I've lost my touch. :p

I am a secretary so it better be pretty darn good. I type anywhere between 85-90 WPM.

When I first started learning typing, my typing speed was a maximum of 20 WPM.
Being able to type faster allows me to do my work faster because most of my assignments can be done online and for that, they require me to write.

Now my touch typing speed in wpmtest is 80 WPM.

I use a QWERTY outline and I know that if I start using other layouts like Dvorak or Colemak I might be a little faster, but it will take me a long time to get used to it. For keyboarding practicing I use wpmtest.org app.

Depends on environment; my hands are fricken cold right now so both my speed and accuracy are terrible. Usually it's pretty decent, around 100 per minute or so.

Regardless of what or where I'm typing, having someone watch me always drops that number to like 20.
