(let's face it, it will end someday)

When Pokemon ends, what will you do?

Personally, I wouldn't care. The series has been deteriorating over the past few years and I can just as well play Halo or CoD.

Oh god, not another "Pokemon will end" thread. But you do have a kind of unasked question, so this thread might be okay.

If Pokemon ended, I'd continue to play the games. I'd get bored by the main series games eventually, and then I'd probably just play things like PokePark Wii. I'd certainly have more time and money for other game series that I like too.

But boo, Halo and CoD. And Halo is finished anyway.

By the time it ends, I'll be making my own games. I'm making a game with monsters too, only with different mechanics.

Eventually the old staff will have to retire and move on, and when they do, they might leave it in the hands of a younger generation, or they might just stop it there.

So, if Pokemon ended, the only thing that would really change would that my own games wouldn't have to compete with it (not that I'm worried about that, I'm not really out to steal business from Pokemon at all).

well thats quite... innovative

im not sure, i will actually attempt to catch em all probably if pokemon is to end

i think it'd be healthy for maybe not long in the future, for them to put the franchise on hold for a few years. Or maybe stop releasing new generations and release new material with the exisiting pokemon?!

No.....Pokemon........must.......get.........Emerald........play....live....

I would live a normal life, just be a 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000xbored. and probably cry. yeah, i would cry a lot.

Probably won't happen for a long, long time. Pokemon has proven that it's one of those things people just like so much and just keep wanting more of it, it's long since proven it's more than just a fad. We find it interesting and fun, we relate to certain characters and species. The creators know what they're doing when they create new species.

Look at Disney, Dragon Ball, Spongebob, Sesame Street.. Some things just get that popular. The Poke marketing team is smart, Pkmn appeals to kids so much then stays relevant to them as they age, soon the kids of us who originally fell in love with Pokemon probably will love as much as we do.

There are some examples like Harry Potter where a major person involved starts getting tired of all the managing, like JK Rowling probably is, so that probably will decline (though Deathly Hallows pwns amirite? ;-)) but Pokemon's a multi-billion dollar industry, I think it's got some years left in it if they can keep things interesting.

It's always interesting learning about new Pokemon, but it's starting to get scary now with almost 700 species IMO.

By that time I doubt I will care. I'll either be in college or graduated, so I'll have different priorities.

I would write a sad cliched power ballad about it and record and post it on Youtube for lulz.

I'd sacrifice several animals to Arceus and make a shrine at the park with statues of the dragon trio, the lake trio and Arceus.
