No, not another "where are the characters supposed to be in relation to our world" thread, it's a "where are the buildings where the anime is animated" thread!

I was just wondering where the development of the show took place, if anyone could help, that'd be much appreciated.

OLM (the company who animates the show) is based in Tokyo. Judging from all the Japanese names in the show's credits, the series/movies are animated entirely in Japan, but the exact location in Japan where the show is animated is unknown.

The only exception I can think of is the Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon special, which seems to have had the bulk of the animation done in Korea.

Thanks for that. This is a bit of an over-ambitious dream, I know, but I'm going to be living in Tokyo in about three years and I wanted to possibly intern there. It would always be a fun experience!

That explains why Mastermind had such odd animation.

I've heard that Japan is rather...um...well, not to be offensive, but I don't think they hire foreigners over locals that much.

apart from the UK where they won't hire you as a plumber electrician etc unless your a foreigner
