Which characters do you think deserve Specials?

it would be awsome to have an episode on how the stiaton brothers becam gym leaders in the first place and how all three of them were given to oppertunity to share the gym leader postion. and how they were like kids.

May and Max need their own special. And when I say own I mean not around the other main characters or themselves but somewhere else doing their own thing.

Tracey needs his own special. And not having Misty or Daisy in it will do him some good. All it will do is take complete attention away from him.

Ash needs his own special, where is his by himself with no one else for two to three episodes. Alot of people say that he can't survive by himself, but it would be cool to see him save other people, Pokemon and do some things on his own for a while.

It would be nice to see Paul get a special. I know he's doing something now. So it would be nice to see who he runs into or maybe go to another region.

It would be cool to see Duplica get a special. Haven't seen her in years.

*Few* Been a while since I've posted here, forgive meXD Ok, well I'd love four specials on Ash. As some one said above me, have him travel on his own for a few specials, maybe have different evil teams attack him??? Course see him defeat them. Maybe have Ash win a tournament in the specials as well??

May special would be my second choice, seeing what happened with her in Jhoto and beating her rivals Drew and Harley. Followed by maybe another Dawn special with her finally defeating Zoey and saying shes going to see Ash soon at the end of it?? Just an idea.

Too many to count. I'd love to see an anime interpretation of Wes from Pokemon Colosseum, as well as Will, Karen, and Janine. Or perhaps Blue, Yellow, Silver, Wally, and Emerald from the Pokemon Adventures manga.

But if I'm going to go solely with anime characters, here just some of the ones that come to mind: Bill, Giselle, Duplica, Todd Snap, Phantom Thief Brodie, the various Gym Leaders who appeared for only one or two episodes (Lt. Surge, Koga, Falkner, Bugsy, etc.), and Ash's Butterfree, Pidgeot, Lapras, and Primeape.

In fact, I can think of premises for potential episodes using just a few of these characters: Bill goes to the Sevii Islands to help his old friend Celio with their local PC system, Falkner meets Janine and after arguing about who's father is greater, decide to settle their dispute in a Pokemon Battle, Todd comes to Pallet Town and after earning the respect of Professor Oak, is asked to visit a certain island and take pictures of the Pokemon there, and many more ideas.

Silver - he was only mentioned once in the Legend of Thunder. I'd like to see a special of him and Jimmy/Gold
The Unova E4 - so much potential that has not shown in the anime
Paul - what happened to him after the Sinnoh League and his relationship with Reggie: has it gotten any better?
Stephan - A little adventure with Sawk
Hugh - he could probably appear as Cheren's apprentice
Cheren and Bianca - something that would mark their game canon friendship

I'd like to have a Burgundy special and Georgia special, since they most likely will not appear anymore.

Burgundy special: (happens after BW) Cilan has returned to Unova after departing with Ash - Burgundy finds that out and after months of heavy studying she comes and challenges him to a battle to prove how much she's improved.

Langley special: (happens after BW) Iris has become the new gym leader of Opelucid (or is replacing him temporarily). Georgia suddenly appears and challenges Iris to a gym battle. Of course, we'd also get to enjoy their bitchy interactions and get some progress.

This'd be a good way to feature both Iris and Cilan as well as their rivals.

I'd like a special for Brendan, Wally, and Steven...We never get to see male game characters in the series because Ash is always taking their spot...It would've been interesting to see Ash or May have the timid, frail Wally as a rival, growing stronger on his Pokemon Journey...And you know, it may not be a bad idea to include May and Max in the fun as well...Give a shoutout to Drew and Harley as well...

Steven...He was supposed to be the Champion, and he was supposed to be the one involved with the Team Aqua/Magma Plot...he deserves redemption! Perhaps he could be in pursuit of Brody, the Ribbon Cup Caper who managed to escaped the last time we saw him.

I'd love to see a special with Steven and Wallace, though I'm not sure what they would do for twenty minutes.
Wally, too. It's a pity that he didn't show up in the anime; he's one of the few game rivals who didn't appear in the anime in some form or another.

A special about Eusine would be amusing; I'd like to see some of his Suicune-chasing exploits, and he never made a reappearance when Heart Gold and Soul Silver came out. Same goes for Silver.

The two people that instantly spring to mind are May and Max. May got a cameo in DP but we never got to see her doing her own thing. As much as I'd love a Misty, Brock special, at least we got some episodes for them in Chronicles so they aren't as deserving as others. Aside from them, I'm good. I'd like to see an Iris special at some point but it's way too early to think about that when she's still on our screens.

A Paul special would be great. I'd really like to see what happened to him after he challenged Brandon again, if he won and where he is now. A special on May and Max would be really good too. I'd really like to hear about where May finished in the Johto Grand Festival and where she's traveling now. I could see her traveling through Sinnoh or maybe even going through the Hoenn region again to compete in the Hoenn Grand Festival again since Dawn was going to there at the end of her special. It would be really cool if they ran into each other during a Contest or the Grand Festival and battled each other again. It would be an even better match considering that they would both have more experience under their belts. I'd like to see Max either meeting with Ralts again or interacting with another Pokemon that ends up being his first Pokemon. He wouldn't be able to go on a journey due to not being ten, but he could still have his own Pokemon and just practice with it at home.

Better question would be "which characters you want to have specials", because answers are mainly subjective based on personal preference.

However as i said before as far as im concerned all ex main characters, but rivals as well deserve more focus and chance to shine not limiting ourselves only to select few.

For instance i would like to see Brock getting few episodes dedicated to his new doctor career, see him bond more with his large family and apply his accumulated knowledge on pokemon. Or go through stage fright before entering important test, confront evaluators to show in practice his knowledge etc.

I always felt he was robbed of from proper focus in DP special where Forest got more attention.

There is also May. Poor girl never got follow up after departure which is shame, because coverage on her Johto adventures had material to make something memorable from it. They could dhow how her conrtest journey there concluded, relieve some of amusing and sweet dynamic with rivals like Drew or always vengeful Harley etc.

Or introduce to us new adversaries she met on travels, building on her contest style and learning about new ways how to improve her strategy. Perhaps we could also find out where she went next after GF in Johto finished.
Speaking of new pokemon i imagine Lilligant or Mienshao would be interesting choice for contests.

Misty is character i would definitely like to see again having plenty of untapped potential to do more with water master career, her pokemon, past and family having untied things about her master career and in what direction she will go. Her flamboyant, outspoken personality always added certain charm and spice in interactions and i would be interested in finding out what has been happening with her for all this time.

Such as how much she improved as trainer, what new pokemon she acquired, and if she came closer toward her dreams. Seeing her doing solo journeys to catch new pokemon or develop battle style overcoming water weakness to other types, learning from other water specialists like Wallace or Lorelei training with them on Seafom islands for example gives material to make interesting arc from it. We could also see her enter water competitions like Whirl Cup advancing water master goal winning them, even meet Dawn when going to Johto again since she went there too allowing to have them meet each other. When such thing wasn't meant to happen in main series.

You cant go wrong with this imo.

Specials about Iris origins would be appreciated too, to get understanding about her childhood and if she even has any close family left. Or to see how she would adjust to gym life depending with who she ends up being Drayden, Clair or someone third. Who knows maybe her Axew would evolve in spin of series too.

Coverage about Gary and Paul goes without saying.How i wish to see those two measure their strength and go on each other at full battle. Yeah in my dreams maybe.;p

How about Tyson? perhaps we can see him challenging the Hoenn elite four? We only got to see Drake from all the Hoenn elite four, so i would love to see the rest.

Paul- good and pretty obvious choice. Perhaps he could challenge Brandon again in one of the specials or even one of the other frontier brains
