Which is better, keeping moves learned naturally or using TMs?

Personally, I like the moves that Pokemon learn naturally, so what I usually try to do in all my games is keep the natural moves that I think are best for my Pokemon (I rarely use TMs, because you only get each one once, other than Return).

HMs, however, I use as much as I need to, and I like them because some are very good and it's cool that you can use them more than once.

I've never seen it as an issue of one being better then the other. I mean, I'm pretty light with TMs since I always like to make sure I can use it again, either through finding/buying a new one or breeding. But after I have that all figured out I use em all the time. There are a lot of moves that are good to have that a pokemon can't learn naturally.

I use them sometimes but just to make my pokemon's movesets vary. I teach like Ice attacks to water types if I don't have an ice type, or like solarbeam to a fire type that knows sunnyday just so they can take on more pokemon easilier. Other than that I hardly use them, I just breed for good moves

I tend to save my TMs up so much that they sit in my box never ever used.

I have a balance, but I tend to use TMs more than not, 'specially for High powered moves.

I use TM's when I feel one of my Pokemon's moveset isn't and can't be diverse enough. Screw strategy! I just want my Pokes to have all different kinds of techniques. XD

I have rarely used my TM's that I can only get once, and tried to save them for something I really needed them for. Now, since the Battle Frontier has come out, I'm starting to use them because I do actually need them now. lol

Yep, same exact situation here. I usually have another copy of TMs, so I just go wild with them.

Not using one-use TM's is one of the things I do to make ingame harder, indeed. I've been burning through them since Emerald, though.
