I use pokemon that are just my favs ones that i have always liked even if it is for no good reason, like tauros.... but then i just train them and yeah.

I like sweepers, but I prefer my team to look good as well.

I chose four things.

Defensive Pokemon - I prefer survivability in my Pokemon, because this makes me feel safe that they will still be around and can take a hit from attacks, while they can preferably set up on the opponent. Some of them include Tangrowth, Hippowdown and Empoleon.

Good Design - This one is quite obvious. If a Pokemon looks good or have interesting inspirations, it is easier to like. I am actually impressed that the third generation of Pokemon had subtly great designs, like Nincada's evolutions based on a real cicada's growth stages and that Castform is based off a lucky charm for good weather.

Unique Strategies - Because the Pokemon requires a different playstyle to actually take advantage of, learning to use these Pokemon is fun. Ninjask passes speed reliably, Chlorophyll Pokemon likes sun a lot and of course, Clefable, who can do a lot of things because of its ability alone.

Other - I am not sure if this is classified as "type", but I like Pokemon that belongs to the Indeterminate egg group because of their "enigmatic" and varied appearances, like Ralts and family, Wobbuffet and most ghosts.
