Why do people hate Torracat?

I must be in the minority because I personally don't like Litten and prefer Torracat.

But yeah I don't understand the hate about it. I've heard that people disliked it when it was first unveiled so the hate may have died down since. But I personally don't see an issue with it. Torracat's appearance is expected for a mid-stage form of a starter Pokemon.

Personally, I think Torracat is the best looking member of the Litten family. The design really goes downhill with Incineroar.

I've never heard anyone say they hate Torracat. I mean, I'm sure someone out there does, but in terms of Alolan middle-stage starters Brionne is classically the back sheep, and regarding the Litten evolutionary line specifically Incineroar is definitely the most poorly received of the family.

As far as I'm aware, Torracat is "meh" at worst.

I didn't know people hated torracat. I don't mind it at all. I prefer litten, though. And maybe incineroar.

This is the first I've heard of Torracat being hated. Personally I adore it FAR more than it's hideous evolution.
