Wi-Fi PCP Event

Just checked on Serebii. I'm guessing you can download it with a U.S. cartridge, right?

No. It's a European Cartridge event. While some US and EU WiFi events have synced up, not all have. It's possible it'll come out in the US, but unlikely.

I'm havin' a feelin' that it will be available for those who live in the U.S. You could download the Secret Key, Member Card, and Oak's Letter with a EU cartridge, so why can't you do the same for this event? I could be wrong though....

You could download those because Europe also held events for them. While one or two synced up with US releases, not all do.

This has made my day (even though I read about it like last night). Sadly, due to my Diamond Cartridge being American (or, so I believe it is), I'll ether have to settle for only two PCP's or restart Pearl over and over and over again.

This, and the GAME Arceus event? Nintendo sure seem to be making U.K. Pokémon fans happy...

As I said in that other thread, I only have Diamond and its American version... and I live in Israel so obviously can't go to the Gamestop event
That's not fair... everyone pays the same to buy the game but some of us don't get all the game's content because we don't live in the right country =\
Is there any way we can try to convince NOA/TPCI or I don't know who, to make this PCP event over WIFI too? the Jirachi event will be nice too... these two Poké unlock special stuff in HGSS so that's really annoying
I also don't like trades... and even if I did trade, I'm against fakes or clones and I doubt someone would give a real original non cloned PCP... especially since I don't even have anything special to give in return...

I guess an American version will be able to receive the Wi-Fi signal, as Mystery Gift works with the language in which the ROM of the game is set to, meaning that if the European English version is included in the promotion, all carts that have the locale ENG within their the game code (American and Australian included) will be as well.

Even if my theory is wrong, nothing will stop me trying to get the sparkly Wonder Card ^_^.

Are you sure? Now I hope not since I won't be at home soon and I left my DS there X_X" anyway, when the event start, someone should check if this can work on American games or not...

No, I believe not. No matter what language the Cartridge is, I believe, it can only be downloaded in Europe or by European Cartridge. However this is just what I've been told so don't hold me to it.

I don't know why, though. And as said, this is just what I've read on other forums...
