Re: If you were a gym leader...

I'm not good at thinking of names of towns but...

Type: Psycic
Pokemon: Exeggutor, Slowking, Gardevoir, Gallade, Espeon, Starmie
Badge: Pulse Badge
TM: Psycic (i know it's obvious but it's better than calm mind)

Espeon would probably be my most powerful. I would probably only use four at a time so i would usually use Espeon, Gardevoir, Gallade, and a random one from my team. Slowking, Exeggutor, and Starmie would be on the same level and tied for weakest, and Gallade and Gardevoir would be on the same level.

Re: If you were a gym leader...

City: Nidhorgon

Nidhorgon is a northern city, nestled deep in the mountains. There are many dead ends on the path to get there, carved out by miners looking for diamonds. The town is small. The only reason it's even habitable is because of a hot spring that heats the air. The spring gives off steam, which cools and falls as snow. As a result, it's constantly snowing in Nidhorgon. Many things in the town are adorned with diamonds, such as the statue in the center of town portraying the legend of the town's founder.

The legend states that an explorer deep in the mountains came across a nest in a cave surrounded by small fires, which heated the lone egg. The explorer stayed the night in the cave, awakened early the next morning by the roar of the egg's mother, a Dragonite. This Dragonite attacked the explorer, who sent out his Pokemon, a Flygon, to defend himself. Dragonite and Flygon battled for 3 days. They flew over the region, locked in combat. The final showdown took place on the future site of the town. Dragonite and Flygon landed in the small area of flat land where the town would be. Flygon used Earthquake, opening the hot spring. This event is depicted by a statue in the center of town. The water shot out, releasing years of built up pressure. This event is depicted by a statue in the center of town. When the water hit the air, it cooled, turing to snow. Dragonite and Flygon saw how peaceful the snow was and stopped their battle. Dragonite went back to her cave, and when her egg hatched, she entrusted the protection of her baby to the explorer. This is how the friendship with the group of wild Dragonite who live near the town was formed.

Eventually, the explorer returned home with Flygon and Dragonair (it was now a Dragonair). he tried to convince people to come with him to the north, but no one believed him about the hot spring and how they could live there. Eventually though, he met some hardened adventurers, and they joined him. This is why the people of Nidhorgon all have hardy, adventurous sprits.

Re: If you were a gym leader...

Town Location: Orbital Stardocks

The orbital stardocks are earth's gateway to deep space, and are of high importance to continued space exploration. Besides it being a transportation terminal, the stardocks are also a space-borne habitat, complete with artificial gravity and a self sufficient life support system - as long as you like seafood! Fish, shellfish, and edible algae are the main food products on-board due to large holding tanks. The gym is one of the most high-tech gyms in existence, and contains the main backup terminal for the entire electronic storage system, as well as one of the hardest gym puzzles ever.

Type: Electric
Pokemon: Luxray (Highest level), Jolteon (lead), Magnezone, Porygon Z (I know its not electric, but I'm trying for a high-tech theme as well as electric pokemon), Skarmory (Think about it... doesn't Skarmory look mechanical and high-tech, thus fitting the theme?).
Badge: Cyber Badge
TM: Shock Wave
Gym Puzzle: The Mathematical Square - Arrange numbers, Sudoku style, in a 3x3 grid so that when added together, the sums of all rows and columns equal 15. If stumped, battle 1 of 8 trainers around the room to automatically position their assigned number on the grid. Complete the grid or battle all 8 trainers to advance to the gym leader's room.

Due to both the location AND all the evolved pokemon, I would probably be at the last gym before the elite four, and maybe even an Elite 4 candidate in background.

Re: If you were a gym leader...

Location: Dusktone City:
A city located in the mountainous northern section of a newer Region. It is notorious for its history of ninja clans.
Type: Mainly Dark, probably.
Pokemon: Sharpedo (Lead), Absol, Umbreon (Highest Level), Spiritomb, Honchkrow, Drapion.
Badge: Haze Badge
TM: Probably something new, though if I had to pick of prexisting TMs, Dark Pulse.
Gym Puzzle: The Trainer must go through a maze to find and battle eight other Pokemon Trainers, who would brighten up the rooms slightly when you beat them. You also must collect four parts of a Shuriken-shaped key. Once you collect all four pieces, a door will be unlocked in the center of the maze. Inside this room is the Gym Leader.

Notes: In this region, I actually had a different Gym Leader in mind who would be the sixth Gym Leader, a ninja who used Dark-types. I'm just saying that if I was a Gym Leader, I'd take over that place and make it my own. .-.
Also, the statues at the front of the Gym are replaced with statues of Skarmory.
