YOU are a Gym Leader (or Elite Four)

Do I have to use my pokemon I own on the game, or do I just randomly come up with them? This is if I use my pokemon I own.
I wanna be an Elite 4 or late gym it doesn't matter.
Game: Diamond and Pearl
Favorite type: Ice
Pokemon: (subject to change)
Abomasnow (51)

I would be a Poison-type gym leader. :3 I'm thinking I'd be the 6th or 7th gym leader the player would have to face.

My team:

~ Vileplume (Lv. 35)
~ Gengar (Lv. 39)
~ Morobareru (Lv. 44)

I'd be the Champion of the Elite Four (yeesh, I sound like a Mary Sue).
I would have to be a water type or steel type. :p Lucario would lead for my steel team and Feraligatr would lead for my water team.
The rest of the Pokemon? Dunno yet.

I would run a Mostly Psychic Gym. Specialize in tactic adaption(Where opponent must continually change Tactics to keep up)Would have 1 non Psychic to keep with tactic policy.

Claydol(Hold Item: Light Clay)- Earthquake, Reflect, Light Screen, Psychic
Wobbuffet(Hold Item: Sitrus Berry)- Counter, Mirror Coat, Safeguard, Destiny Bond
Gardevoir(Hold Item: Twisted Spoon)- Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Focus Blast
Gallade(Hold Item: Blackbelt)- Psycho Cut, Brick Break, Ankle Sweep, Thunderbolt
Snorlax(Hold Item: Sitrus Berry)- Body Slam, Zen Headbutt, Outrage, Fissure

Yes Snorlax is there to trap the dark type reliant people.
Would also have Xatu in reserve.

Re: If you were a gym leader...

okay i have a better idea.
it would still be a mixed type gym, but without grass (dont like grass types. i think theyre useless). it would be water, fire, and electric. The badge would be called the element badge still. The TM i give would be a choice of charge beam, hydro cannon, or blast burn. My pokemon would be:

Electivire (charge beam, light screen, thunder, thunderbolt)
Gyarados (Aqua Tail, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rage, Waterfall)
Typhlosion (blast burn, flamethrower, rollout, smokescreen)
Empoleon (hydro cannon, steel wing, drill peck, hydro pump)
Magmortar (heat wave, flamethrower, smog, fire punch)
Ditto (transform)

Re: If you were a gym leader...

Town: Geisterstadt
Type: Ghost
Pokemon:
Dusclops
Gengar
Spiritomb
Sableye
Drifblim
Rotom(random form)
Haunting badge

Re: If you were a gym leader...

Town: New Detroit
Type: Dragon (primarily)
Pokemon:
Charizard
Dragonite
Sazandra
Flygon
Badge: Velocity

This gym would be unique in that the battles would be conducted with both trainers riding special machines on an electric track. It can basically be thought of as having Pokemon battles on motorcycles (but not as fast and not requiring a special license). The battles would be 4 v. 4, with the option of single battles or double battles. Also, the Pokemon used would be Flying-type or have the Levitate ability.

Re: If you were a gym leader...

City:Tropacia City??? lol

type:diversity

pokemon:

Lucario (don't ask why)

Walrein (just because)

Staraptor (it has wings)

Blissey (The annoying one)

Umbreon (Just because)

Dragonite (I don't even)

Re: If you were a gym leader...

Town: Cherrydale Village :)dumb:)
Type: Mixed
'Mon:
Ditto (random :eh:)
Gallade (it's awesome)
Absol (Just because it's my favorite poke)
Milotic (don't ask)
Ninetales (fast-choice-specs-wielding-Fire-type)
Sceptile (very fast)
Badge: Unique Badge (...)
TM: TM52 Focus Blast

I would be the final elite 4 trainer. My type would be dark. Because I believe in a battle, you can use all kinds of strategy, whether be fair or not. It's all about the intelligence of the trainer and not just depending on your pokemon's strength. So my strategy is known for being dark, unfair, deceiving, cruel or to summarize it all, "evil". My pokemon list could include every single pure or half typed dark pokemons. But I'm famously known for my signature pokemon, Zoroark. My personality is quiet, judgmental and cold. I speak only a few words to other trainers but it oftenly contains insults and discouragements.

hahaha, so long.

I LOVE that quote!

I'd have to be a Fire type leader. Not original, I know... but fire types have immense offensive capabilities and some of my favourite Pokemon are fire types. Not quite sure on a team, though.

That is awesome, and that is why, when I think about it, I would be ground type. This would be my team. This is not for tactics and stuff, just pokemon I like and moves I like to use.

Nidoking-Thunder punch, Ice punch, Earthquake, Iron Tail

Rhydon(yes, i like him better than rhyperior)-Hammer Arm, Stone Edge, Dig, Fire punch

Swampert-Earthquake, Ice Ball, Return, Stealth Rock

Flygon-Outrage, Dragon Claw, Supersonic, Iron Tail

Mamoswine-Ice Shard, Toxic, Ice Fang, Earthquake

Garchomp-Dragon Rush, Dragon Claaw, Earthquake, Aqua Tail

I'm going to be making my ground team similar to this, but I think I might have a Quagsire and Nidoqueen instead of Swampert and Garchomp :)

I have two answers to this. Based on my personal preferences, I would like to specialize in Dragons (as if you couldn't already guess from my username). Strategically, however, the Dark-type may be a better choice, since it can be paired very well with other types that negate its weaknesses, like Ghost (Spiritomb) and Flying (Honchkrow). Besides, Dark-types got thoroughly screwed in the gym circuits. I mean, five generations and still no Dark-type gym?

You just took the words right out of my mouth.

I'd be the third or fourth of the elite four and I'd specialise in Ice-types of course!

Team 1

Glaceon (F)- 51 (Snow Cloak) Blizzard, Hail, Shadow Ball, Water Pulse/Sitrus Berry
Weavile (M) - 49 (Pressure) Ice Punch, Shadow Claw, X-scissor, Night Slash
Froslass (F) - 49 (Cursed Body) Attract, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Psychic
Mamoswine (M)- 49 (Thick Fat) Earthquake, Curse, Stone Edge, Ice Fang
Glalie (M) - 49 (Ice Body) Toxic, Facade, Spikes, Explosion/ Toxic orb

Remach

Glaceon (F)- 75 (Snow Cloak) Blizzard, Hail, Mirror Coat, Shadow Ball/ NeverMeltIce
Baibanira (M)- 73 (Broken Armour) Acid Armor, Mirror Shot, Mirror Coat, Ice Beam
Frosslass (F) - (Cursed Body) 73 Destiny Bond, Confuse Ray, Attract, Shadow Ball/Sitrus Berry
Weavile (M) - 73 (Pressure) Ice Punch, Taunt, Night Slash, X-Scissor
Lapras(F) - 73 (Water Absorb) Sheer Cold, Hydro Pump, Thunder, Rest
Furiijio - 73 (Levitate) Light Screen, Reflect, Recover, Ice Beam
