With so many games available to play there's bound to be at least one favorite moment within the gameplay itself.
I have a few, most recently, I have played Age of Empires II HD Edition with my brother, there were two teams of four. One of our allies almost lost, with only one villager left alive. I sent what I could muster for my army to protect that villager at all costs (I also gave the ally some wood so he can rebuild). Turns out a distraction was all that was needed to get them away from him. Then my brother and I launched an all-out attack against the enemy who attacked our ally. It was the best avenging act I have ever done in a game.
A moment from years ago and I still remember was fighting the secret boss of Octo Expansion (Inner Agent 3), he is no joke, I kept losing against him so many times, but when I finally defeated him, this was revenge waiting to happen and it felt so good that I didn't care that the prize was just a golden toothpick, besting a mocking opponent is a reward all of its own.
Many more years back when playing Pikmin 3, I have made the promise of not leaving a single Pikmin behind. Unlike with the first game, Pikmin 3's day limit can be extended by collecting fruits, and so far, I have stood by this oath and have succeeded without resetting a day once.
