No it's not; there's no GOOD reason; Why Ash cannot win the league; but also lose against the Elite 4 of Whichever region he won the league of; That way; He can win the League, AND more importantly; Have a Good reason to move onto the next region. . . Seriously; What does the Anime have against Ash winning the league?!!! Seriously; Winning a Single League of a Single Region; DOES NOT make him a Pokemon Master; nor does it make sense for it make sense for that to be the end of the show. . . It should Only qualify him to face off against a Member of the Elite 4; and he could lose to them, since not just anyone can defeat a member of the elite 4; they're called the elite 4 for a reason!!
