Your favourite Pokémon game?

White was a blast to play at first, but after the novelty of the aesthetic improvements and new Pokemon wore off I realised it didn't quite measure up to Platinum. Ditto for Soulsilver and it's nostalgia value. Not to mention Gen 4 had the best Pokemon by far ^^ I'm totally not biased

My fav used to be Crystal... then SoulSilver came out and made my life that much better.

It used to be it got better with each game, and I still believe it... especially because the growth is insane in Gen V. Have a level 1 outsider Pokémon hold an Exp. Share, pout it first in your arty, and have it face Doctor Jules's level 65 Audino... that's epic experience right there

It's a tough decision for me, because I like all my games about equally. I guess I'll go with White.

Platinum for me. D: It had the best plot, and there is so much to do when you're done with the main plot! Plus it had the best player-character design, Lucas is just so cute, and Hikari is cute too even though I'd give her pants. Plus the villainous team is actually quite dark and scary, how cultish they are and stuff. @A@ Plus Cyrus is kinda hot for a psychotic guy!

Colleseum, I feel it is the most "grown up" and "realistic" of the games, I mean these guys outright attacked people sometimes not just "Hey man! We're weak grunts and we are totally all gonna kick your ass so don't try, while we're at it why don't we just tell you all our plans so you know exactly what to do to stop us"

Yes, I have to agree with you, Platinum is my favourite game so far in the series. I find it much darker than any of the other main games. It made two very good games have an excellent extension, with the Villa and the Battle frontier.

Well, my favorite game overall is Guardian Signs, but of course they wouldn't put spinoffs.

So now it's a toss up between Platinum and Emerald. Emerald has less votes, so my vote goes to Emerald.

I'll have to go with White, mainly because I think N is one of the most interesting characters in Pokemon history and I loved seeing his development in the game.
HG/SS gets a mention too because it has some of the best music I've ever heard in a pokemon game.

Emerald, hands down. While Ruby/Sapphire were already excellent games, they simply couldn't compare to the sheer butt-kickery that was the Battle Frontier at the time. Lack of meaningful post-game content? No such thing in Emerald's case!
