We hope you're enjoying Sword and Shield so far! So that everyone can enjoy it and not be spoiled, please keep the all story spoilers and any images from the games in the appropriate sections or in spoiler tags until January 3rd.
Since spoiler tags are not allowed in signatures, please do not put images from the games in your signature either. You can list the names of new Pokémon if you want to list your team in your signature.
Emerald, hands down. While Ruby/Sapphire were already excellent games, they simply couldn't compare to the sheer butt-kickery that was the Battle Frontier at the time. Lack of meaningful post-game content? No such thing in Emerald's case!
I know people will rage me for this but Diamond. While Platinum overall delivered more I still prefer Diamond as some of the stuff I loved about it got changed in Platinum. I preferred the original format of the gym leaders like the order, and I wasn't feeling the gym redesigns and some of the city ones either. I also like their original rosters as well and the way you started your journey by watching that tv report on the lake of rage was really cool. All in all while Platinum was great Diamond will forever by my favorite.
At this point in time, probably Ruby. It was my second game, but I was older and was able to get into it a lot more for the first time. Plus I've been replaying it and still like it. I hate nostalgia, but well, I think it might win out on this one. Yeah.
