Your FUUUUUU Moments (non-Pokemon)

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Master Sword trials are really uhh.... challenging, to state the obvious. :c i knew they were going in, but it really does take a lot more wit and cunning than i thought! i keep getting defeated in the beginning in the mid trials. ;_;

Tried to do the Wing Cap Tower in Super Mario 64. I collected the red coins, but got caught under the top of the tower and fell.

recently I found out my seed for cadence of hyrule cannot be 100%, it's missing a heart piece and 8 deku seeds
so rather than sink another 30 hours to try to do the same again but in a better seed I just moved onto the other stories.

This happened just yesterday. I had just replaced my n3DS' microSD card and re-downloaded everything. I looked at my backup saves and...nothing. My progress in Crystal, Xenoblade (109 hours and a full jukebox) and SMT IV/A (completed saves) were all completely gone. Dunno what I did wrong here :bulbaFacepalm:

This isn't specifically a rant about what happened in a game, but it's bizarre and I have to get it out somewhere.

The Sims series. The Sims series has never had a playable wind instrument in the entirety of its 20 years of existence. The exception being a snake charming instrument (a pungi), which I don't count because the game doesn't count it as an instrument, it's just there as a snake charming gimmick. That may be a bit unfair of me, I definitely do consider it an instrument, but the series does not. It does not function like the instruments in the series. Anyway, that's just background info for what I'm just at a loss to say now.

The Sims 3 had a skilled modder who began the project of making playable woodwind and brass instruments, but he disappeared shortly into doing the project. Much to my shock, I discovered some months ago that The Sims 4 had a another skilled modder who began a similar project. Very basic, very low poly simple models like TS3 mod, so I hoped to see improvement. But what has this modder done? ...I mean, I'm not saying we're entitled to that mod improving or that the modder has to spend their time doing things I want or anything like that... But... This modder began going off making (spoilered because it's a bit disturbing)

cannibal mods. I know... Gross! But that's not where this stops... They're now programming a whole new game... a cannibal simulation. o_O

So my only hope for a playable woodwind/brass instrument in The Sims that I've been waiting for, for nearly two decades rests in the hands of someone who finds

cannibalism
appealing enough to not only mod TS4 to have it, but they're also making their own whole game based off of that now. What in the world.

This is like reading about Ian Watkins all over again after spending two years using "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)" as a motivational song. It had the same kind of effect to me, Aulos.

I just recently had a massive FUUUUU moment that ended up costing me big. While playing Dragon Quest XI S on Switch I decided to try 2D mode again, see if I could collect more items like Mini Medals and such, as I was currently at the First Forest, heading up to the altar where the six orbs would go (and where all hell will break lose shortly afterward). So, I did that, only to discover that I really shouldn't have, as I ended up losing about 2 chapters worth of saved progress, mostly the entirely of the Sniflheim and a sizable chuck of the First Forest. I tried jumping back to 3D Mode to avert that but because I had selected the Dora-In-Grey chapter for my 2D adventure it put me right back there in the 3D mode, cutting me off from all my saved progress. I got so furious at all that progress lost and I didn't want to do it all over again that I ended up deleting the entire file out of fury. All that hard work down the drain because of a stupid idea to try to cheat the system and increase my earnings and stuff. Back when I would exploit the 2D/3D system earlier in the game I didn't get setback as far, probably because both times I did it were more or less in the same chapter, so it didn't do that much damage. This time, however, I really blew it. So, lesson learned. When I get the PS4 version of XI S I will be much more careful to not do something completely stupid like that, though I'm still upset regardless.

The entire Danganronpa series is one giant FUUUUUUUUUU moment tbh. No series has made me actively hate-play as much as that one.

Dealing with Demyx the second time in Kingdom Hearts II, fighting Demyx himself wasn't hard, dealing with his water clones under tighter and tighter time limits was though...

The billiard ball section in the desert level for Silver in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), took me roughly 2-3 hours to get that section completed the first time I ever played it. Loading screen times did not help matters.

I was playing Dragon Quest and go into the casino. I sit down at a poker table and one round I'm dealt a Full House. In all the excitement, I deal the cards back. Also I got greedy during the Double or Nothing segments.

Was playing SMT4 and got surprise jumped by a group of enemies who proceeded to wipe me before I got a turn in. Reset the game to find out that I did not, in fact, save as recently as I thought I did. Haven't played in a couple days now.

Planet Zoo. If you somehow end up getting protesters at your zoo, sometimes they end up blocking the keepers from feeding whatever animal they happen to be protesting about. This happens primarily with exhibit animals as opposed to habitat animals. And keep in mind that protesters won't leave until you are able to improve the conditions of whatever animal they are upset about.
