Re: what is your MBTI personality

ISFP
Introvert(67%) Sensing(1%) Feeling(25%) Perceiving(89%)
You have distinct preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)
You have strong preference of Perceiving over Judging (89%)

hmmmm. Makes sense. I used to be all over logic trumping emotion when I was younger, but it seems to me now like our logic can lead us wrong as often as our emotions.

Re: what is your MBTI personality

I've taken these kinds of tests a few times, and I'm pretty convinced I'm an INTJ. Results from the last test I took:
Introvert(100%)iNtuitive(12%)Thinking(38%)Judging(56%)
You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (12%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (38%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (56%)

Re: what is your MBTI personality

I usually do this kind of test and I almost always got INFP, this time is not a exception.
As I heard, is it a pretty rare personality, I'm happy that there are people here with it ^^

Introvert(89%) intuitive(38%) Feeling(78%) Perceiving(22%)

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extroversion (89%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have distinctive preference of Feeling over Thinking (78%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)

Re: what is your MBTI personality

Usually I get INTP. When my friend read the description she laughed because it was so much like me.

I've gotten INFJ on every version of the test I've taken. Searched up "INFJ Profile" on Google and this is one of the first results:

Joe Butt on Type Logic said:
Beneath the quiet exterior, INFJs hold deep convictions about the weightier matters of life. Those who are activists -- INFJs gravitate toward such a role -- are there for the cause, not for personal glory or political power.

INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. They often are found in the wake of an emergency, rescuing those who are in acute distress. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic justice' is appealing to the INFJ.

"There's something rotten in Denmark." Accurately suspicious about others' motives, INFJs are not easily led. These are the people that you can rarely fool any of the time. Though affable and sympathetic to most, INFJs are selective about their friends. Such a friendship is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words.

INFJs have a knack for fluency in language and facility in communication. In addition, nonverbal sensitivity enables the INFJ to know and be known by others intimately.

Writing, counseling, public service and even politics are areas where INFJs frequently find their niche.

It's fairly accurate, except for the whole "fantasize about getting revenge" thing. Which is fairly creepy. My dream job is a journalist though, which goes along with the whole "knack for fluency in language and facility in communication" thing.

Also the guy who wrote this is called Joe Butt. Heh.

INTJ

People with the INTJ personality type are imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but they do not squander their energy.

I normally don't give much credence to personality tests, since you can apply them to yourself kind of like fortune cookies. I've gotten this result consistently enough to regard it as valid, and I believe it suits me quite well. Hopefully it will prove compatible with my political aspirations.

So apparently I made this thread a few years ago. I had actually completely forgotten! Looks like I've been fascinated with MBTI for longer than I thought. I was looking through it and I noticed two things that I wanted to give an up-date on.

First, by sheer coincidence, my English teacher in sophomore year of high school made us take this same test I linked in the original post. (I'm not even in high school any more! Jeez, this thread is like a relic of my past self.) That time, I got INFJ, and I remember telling him that it was probably more accurate, but at that age I was in this mind-set of trying to do everything in my life "logically" and other pointless stuff like that, so I said that I wished I had gotten INTJ again. I also remember that teacher referring to me as a "deep thinker", to a fault. Now skip way ahead to senior year, when a friend of mine made our little circle take a different test out of curiosity. That time, I got INFP, and by that time I had also abandoned the notion of being "logical" in favor of just being true to myself, because that's all I can do, and so I was satisfied with my result. That test was at a place called 16personalities.com, which I was very satisfied with and I recommend highly (and I think it's already been mentioned in this thread).

Second, I just found out that the test I linked in the original post all those years ago has changed. If you didn't see the original version of the test that I linked, the same one I took in sophomore year, it had all the same questions, but the only options were "yes" or "no" (which is why you'll see me saying that it was "scary accurate" for "a simple 'yes'-or'no' test" even though it's no longer like that). I remember always wishing that test would make the jump to more options for answers, and I'm glad to see that it finally has. I decided to take it again and see if I'd stick with INFJ/INTJ like I got when I was fifteen and the only answers were "yes" or "no". Much to my pleasant surprise, I got INFP this time, too! After reading the descriptions of some other personality types, I can definitely say that INFP is the closest match I can think of, so take a tally away from INTJ and chalk me up with INFP nowadays.

Say, that gives me an idea. I think I might add a poll to this thread.

I'm ENTP
I had made similar Mayer Briggs tests and the result is always ENFP or ENTP. I'm at a boder between Thinking (T) and Feeling (F). It depends on my mood and the moment in life.

You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (22%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (34%)

ISTJ.
I thought I was ISFJ for a while because I started tried to get more empathy so I wouldn't make some blunt mistakes as a teenager.
Later on I thought that online I may be acting more like ESTJ because I feel more open.
But in the end I'm still ISTJ, I've just managed to cultivate other skills a little bit I think and get past some of my type's negatives.

i'm an INFP-A aka "The Mediator"
52% Introverted
73% Intuitive
68% Feeling
54% Prospecting
54% Assertive

and it really does fit me, Before I took the test a while ago I thought I was rather introverted, but I'm actually right on the edge.
But now I say so, it's been a while since I've done the quiz, and I've changed dramatically the last half year. So let me retake it...

And.. Well I've actually not changed as much as I thought to be.
64% Introverted
75% Intuitive
77% Feeling
64% Prospecting
58% Assertive

It seems I've grown stronger in all the aspects of the personality I already was in.

Pretty sure this has always been my score including like a decade and a half ago when I first took this thing, although the percentages have changed over the decade and a half. Introvert was super-high before and Sensing was higher as well. I mean, I guess it stands to reason that one gains more confidence as one gets older :p (maturity, on the other hand... *dives into giant pile of plushies on couch*)
