i am sorry if this post has already been made by some other person. but anyway, imagine this! you are the head of team rocket!(dont ask what happened to giovanni. lets say he works at the local supermarket) and you are thinking of a new plan to capture pikachu once and for all. it will take cunning and smart thinking. so what would you do?

I would pouch rare Pokemon in mass number and use(and/or build) team rocket training facilities to train the poached Pokemon to be strong and obey team rocket units. For all operations each unit would have a full team. And I would cut the agents working independently crud. Then I would probably just keep building my forces until I die (which I don't want to do) due to paranoia that I won't have enough forces to take over the world which is my goal. I would also deploy units to win league so they can win money for me and study elite trainers so my glorious organization can be good battlers and steal their pokes. I would build Pokemon battle bet circles to get more money. And invest in the Pokemon league until I'm majority share holder and institute gambling into the league to gain more money for myself and my dastardly operations.

Surely Giovanni never asked for Pikachu; Jessie, James and Meowth just assumed he'd want it?

First off, I'd fire Jessie and James. Neither of them have a good track record, and they can get a bit too emotional at times. Meowth would only stay due to being a human-to-Pokémon translator, which could help with trickery; however, he'd be demoted (Although Pikachu is familiar with Meowth, the cat might be useful in other missions). Out of the Team Rocket members were currently know of, I would probably assign Domino to capture Pikachu; possibly with Professor Sebastian to make some cool gadgets and stuff.

As for me...I'd sit in the office with a fine wine, like a boss.

Once I have Pikachu, I'd force it to evolve and put a fake moustache on it so Ash will never recognise it.

Now, I don't think Team Rocket would do very well at all if I was put in charge - I'm (me, Worsian) a bit of a doormat, without much will to dominate anything.

However, I would hopefully improve morale. I'd declare every Friday Karaoke Night. Sake would usually be on the house, and of course Jessie and James would stay on the payroll. They're too lovely to fire.

I would somehow reveal Team Rocket to people and that I'm the leader, put it on the news that I committed suicide but it was someone who looked like me so people would think I'm dead, and retire from team rocket and simply make a good disguise, and with Ash sleeping like a baby with no worries slit throat in his sleep and take Pikachu, send it out, take a rock and ram it upside the little guys head giving him amnesia and making him my life long friend.

Basically, I don't think giving Jessie, James and Meowth (JJM) more money I mean what's the use? Unless they are their badass selves from Unova then their competence will make me have more trust in them.

Attia and Hun would be the ones that I would send against Ash and crew from previous regions in order to get Pikachu, I mean in the opening scene of one movie the two seemed to have captured to King of the Ozone Layer: Rayqauaza!! Not to mention, in the Legend of Thunder movie they were close to getting Raikou and another bunch of electric type Pokemon! Funny how they managed to snag a wild Raichu but we didn't see a Pikachu or Pichu in that bunch lol

I mean think about it; all of the times JJM try to steal Pokemon Ash and the gang are in the way so why not go back to where you wanted to steal Pokemon after Ash and crew leave? That way there would be nobody in your way. I mean it only makes better sense this way.

Somebody mentioned above that Giovanni never asked for Pikachu and that's right they just assumed he wanted it because of its power and that maybe true, they need to capture Pikachu on film (lol like Snap thought he was supposed to do) and bring the footage to their boss and see what he thinks.

I mean really I'd want a little 2nd stage Pokemon that could take down legendary, pseudo-legendary, gym leaders, hard league opponents, put up a good match against E4 Pokemon and numerous other Pokemon that are nearly impossible to beat on one on one combat.

One thing that I would find HILARIOUS about Giovanni is if all of Meowth's Boss fantasies about how he would use a Pokemon that they wanted to steal for him was actually what he does with Pokemon now! Have you ever thought about that? Him boxing with a Chansey that will then nurse him back to health, a Lotad "sink" that he uses in the morning or a Buizel that saved his life once from the sea, etc.

I'd put JJM in their BW attitudes on the field with some good equipment and powerful Pokemon along with...hey I wonder if Butch and Cassidy are like this now???

Well, we'll see what happens next with TR.

I would catch a Pokémon, (something lovable, like Shinx), train it to lure Ash's Pikachu into a trap, which would instantly send a message to the field workers who own the Pokémon, who will capture Ash & co. as well, rendering them helpless as to be able to free Pikachu, while the trap is escorted away by helicopter to the Team Rocket HQ.
