This could all change depending on what Pokémon are available early on in the game. I never switch out my Original 6.

Damn lol My team is still the same except for two changes. Fletchling getting replaced with Caterpie and Clauncher making way for Magikarp.

My team has switched around slightly, capturing Pokemon which replace other Pokemon in my party.

As it currently stands, my team consists of:

Braixen
Charmeleon
Pikachu
Absol
Honedge (I didn't expect to be able to capture one as early as I did)
Amaura

I've changed my team again lol even though I haven't played it at all!
Greninja (because its not good to have 3 fire-types in a party)
Charizard
Blaziken
Gogoat (or another grass type)
Auroras (I always try to use one of the fossils)
Garchomp (My favorite dragon type and probably favorite type of all time)

It also depends when you get all of them but I'm aiming for this team to be my E4 team

So far it's just Coconut the Chespin, Lemon the Pikachu, and (needs food nickname haha) Vivillon. Probably picking up Flareon when I can, too. Oh, and Squirtle!~

I have my final team set, considering they're all in use.

Greninja as my starter.
Diggersby just 'cuz it's Diggersby.
Honedge 'cuz Swords Dance + Shadow Sneak = :dead:
Skiddo because it's adorable.
Fletchinder for Sky Battles.
& Flabebe. I wasn't planning on using her, but she has been in my party ever since route 4 and it would be such a pity for me to not use her as she is incredibly kick ass.

Venusaur (if I don't find another Grass type I like more)

I know three Fire types makes it a little unbalanced, but I don't care, I love the Fire types gen 6 has to offer!

Do you guys not need a surfer in X and Y, I don't see many people listing any water types other than Greninja and Squirtle.

I just have to hope someone gets AR codes for X and Y out soon, so I can get my team early on.
I want a Noivern but apparently its not available until right at the end.

Delphox (will be female as still haven't got my head around my Male Meganium)

And room for one Flying type to Fly me places and one Water type to Surf me places, don't want Talonflame as I already have a fire type, and not sure about Clawitzer as a Surfer looks a bit small to surf on.

Aegislash (lots of type coverage)
Blastoise (only Kanto starter I don't have full-evo'd)
Blaziken (Speed Boost is an awesome ability and dat Mega)
Tyrantrum (More type coverage)
Meowstic (Earliest Psychic in the game; will use Malamar next game)

Now I just need to save my dough for Bulldoze, so Tyrunt can have it right away. I love how selecting TMs now shows who on the team can use it. Very convenient.

Can I ask by any on what merits does Florges have? I want to know if it has decent stats/movepool/etc. before I start wasting a Shiny Stone on it. Also, where can I get Fossils?

These are on rotation, I just finished the 2nd gym and their levels are around 17 - 23. I have yet to figure out how I will rotate them, though.

Qulladin, Kirlia, Bagon, Snorlax, Gyarados, Inkay, Charmeleon, Combusken, Fletchinder, Amaura, Kangaskhan, Mawile, Cubone, Pancham, Azumarill, Honedge and Pikachu.
