"Actually, guns are dad's weapons, but they're not Soul Weapons. I'm his Soul Sword, or to be more technical, his Soul Body. I'm Los Lobos." Lillinette said. "Dad just gave me the human name Lillinette Gingerback Starrk."
"So are you a real girl, or are you just like Pinocchio?" said Neil's confused tone, "This is confusing. You already made my head hurt before and this is not very helpful."
"Once was. I almost died in a car accident, and dad resorted to stab me with his Soul Sword to help revive me. However, somehow, I became his Soul Sword, and now, I'm dad's key to his power."
"Yes, I did." Patrisha said, placing her hand on Kevin's hand.
Hobbs ran his hand through his hair. Niel wasm't going to kill himself, not on his, nor anyone elses watch.
Kevin slid off of the table, grunting in pain from the stretching of his gut, but still happy to be free of the confines of Medical. "OOH, I'm sore. Good to not be trapped in that rock." He closed his mouth, not sure whether to bring up earlier.
"No! You need rest! You're still not better! Now stay in bed while I go to the bathroom!" Patrisha said, who couldn't hold it in anymore and ran for the bathroom.
"So, why were you suicidal back there?" Lillinette asked him.
"I'm not a good person, and I'm not even going to risk my friends safety because of that." Neil said. "Oh, anyways, thanks for the fight, Kiyoteh, and you too, Pinocchio. That was some fun."
"I did a really bad thing, I hurt my beloved in the worst way, and for nothing. Nothing that really matters anyways." Neil said to Hobbs. "I'm not sure all of you would be alive if I hadn't gotten rid of Nexus and Void."
"Hey, I don't think a couple of cursed swords would be able to defeat me, Dante Mirandez, the Devil Warrioress!" She said, then boastfully laughed, clearly meaning that she's trying to lighten up the mood.
"I try." Dante said. "So, let's ford on." Lillinette said, pointing to a room. Dante looked over and saw no guards. Just a long hallway. "Great. I got a bad feeling about this." She said, walking in wielding Ebony and Ivory.
"I call dibs on our future opponent," Neil said, "I mean of course there is a Las Noches Commander here, it's just like a game, and this moment is when they pop up." Neil said tiredly holding his blade, in case, his suspicions proved to be true.
For what felt like hours, the team trudged on down the hallway. "Jesus, just how long is this place?!" Dante yelled. "About 3 days walk, from east to west and north to south." Lillinette said, like it was no big deal. Dante stopped. "Oh, perfect." She muttered.
"My hunch was wrong, then. This is a loading screen for the big fright that's coming up then," Neil said. "I wish I brought my motorcycle in here, it would take me about an hour, tops, with that thing."
Dante stepped forward, only for a hole to appear quick as lightning right where she once stood. Tia cursed under her breath as she swan-dived after her, and it closed.
Another hole appeared, right under Jonny and Nel, sending them down a dark tube.
Another hole appeared, underneath Neil, Kiyoteh, and Lillinette, sending them away as well. All that leaves behind is Hobbs and the SSO troops left.
"Well this is terrific." Jonny said to Nel as they fell. He was somewhat calm because he already knew that there would be a battle awaiting them when they landed wherever they were headed. So he simply checked the ammunition in his numerous firearms and reloaded his two pistols which were out of bullets from his short skirmish with Kiyoteh.
Nel said nothing, a firm face on and hand on Gamuza as they slide out. It was a room filled with pillars and they landed on one. Nel looked down and saw tiled floors. Hearing something buzz, Nel grabbed Jonny and jumped down, right when a yellow ball slammed into the pillar they were on, breaking it.
As soon as Jonny saw the sphere fly over his head, he brought his two Berettas up and squeezed three rounds off out of each gun in the direction from which the ball had come.
