{Guys listen. Pastoria has a relatively new SSO base there. It has a universal control station deep underground. We can gather supplies, call whoever we need to, and I can do something that we'll need when we take down Ayzen. I can call in SSO brigades to provide a distraction. We can take the Oreburgh building extremely easy if I can make that call.} Hobbs said over the radio.
{I see the uplink tower! Pastoria isn't far away! I'll try and get the access codes.} Hobbs said, powering up the laptop. Cal switched seats, and Hobbs went back into the command trailer. Starting up the computers, he connected with the SSO interface, and started downloading the codes. {Everyone! We need to keep the tower and this laptop in one piece if we want to get that call out.}
{I'm uploading the codes now. There should be-} The rest of Hobbs's sentence was cut off by a low rumbling. Suddenly, the ground lifted up in front of the group, and a hanger opened up inside the piece of ground. {Everyone. Inside, NOW!}
Hobbs lept out and closed the hanger door. The power was still on, so the lights still functioned. "I'll go down to the Ops room and see what we can use. The rest of you should scout around the base, clear out any zombies, and find supplies. Who knows, maybe someone is still alive down here."
Hobbs walked over to the elevator withe Kevin. After it reached its destination, the Ops center, they both got access to the mainframe, emergency beacon, and the comm. tower. {I'm bringing this place online. Hold on.} After the doors and bulkheads had been unsealed, Hobbs radioed back, {I'm controlling everything from here. Wait, what the hell is-whoa, we can use this. I just found a dormant A.I here in the mainframe. It, or I should say he, can help you guys once I reactivate him. Give me a couple of minutes to try and reboot the computer systems.}
Hobbs activated the A.I's mainframe, and the holoprojector next to him popped into life. "Hello there, A.I"
{Hello, sir. It's been a while since the last human ventured in here. They deactivated me to keep all of the classified info safe. And who exactly are you, sir?}
"Sergeant second class Hobbs. Listen. We know who did the zombifying. I need to see if anyone in the SSO might have supplied him with anything. Authorization codes BANDERSNATCH and HYDRA. All info is to be downloaded to my command trailer. And what is your name, A.I?"
{Kellyn, sir.}
"Alright Kellyn, lets get that info transferred. And then prep the comm. tower. I have an important call to make."
{Is it to the closest kin of all the SSO troops we found?} Dante asked Hobbs via walkie-talkie. "In your dating life." Dante said to Neil, patting Demonita's side.
{What do you mean?} Hobbs asked, powering up the defenses for the base. After that, he locked down the Ops room so that no zombies could get in. "Kellyn, where is the armory?"
{In this room actually, sir}
Pressing a button, racks of M16s, MA26s, Magnums, ARC swords, gatteling guns, SMGs, and even a portable SWORD robot. Grabbing everything, he walked back to the chair and worked with the communications mainframe.
{Scout the corridors, find anything useful, bring it to the vehicles, and kill any zombies you find. I can't be disturbed while I make the call or download the SSO mainframe into the trailer.} Hobbs said over the radio.
"Kellyn, hook me up to the SSO main communications satellites and put it on all comm. frequencies. Time to give a speech."
Tia and crew got out of the Skull Crusher, as well as Dante. Suddenly, something huge went through the door and into the wall beside the Skull Crusher. Dante looked at it. It was a double-sided lance, and a very thick one at that.
