Another wonderful Pokemon that shares the water/ground typing is Gastrodon.

Typings alone, that team seems to be pretty mono type, barring Toxicroak. There are several other non water-types that can take advantage of the rain, including several special electric types that can make use of 100% accuracy thunders. In addition, Noivern may be a good addition considering one...

It's no problem! We all have our first steps into competitive battling. (: Do you plan on continuing to play in your community, or do you plan on expanding your battling to other communities as well?

I believe smogon typically does full 6 v 6 single battles, or VGC involves 4 v 4 double battles. I do not usually see other variations.

In general, here is a list of banned Pokemon if you are playing OU, which I would say is the most common tier.
