...Writers' Workshop, and then post a link to it here!
The deadline remains the same, so you've all got a bit over two days to wrap yours up and get it in before the judgment and voting phase begins. Best of luck, and we're all eagerly awaiting to read your work! <3
...*runs away to finish...
Drowzee is one of the few Gen 1 Pokémon that I have no strong feelings on whatsoever... don't love it, don't dislike it either, it's just kinda silly. Maybe it's just because I've seen the baku/dream tapir concept in so many other things by now, but Hypno is a lot more interesting to me.

I think I fall into the "OK" category. My digital handwriting's usually pretty good, but on paper I always feel like it looks sooooo bad. I write in very deliberate print, but it's very inconsistent and I have an abnormally firm pen grip only when writing on paper (I suspect it might be a...
Tomorrow night, a little less than 24 hours from now!
The cutoff is May 5th at 11:59 PM, so submissions will open up tomorrow on May 3rd at 11:59 PM (that's 6:59 PM EDT/3:59 PM PDT). This will give everyone exactly 48 hours to finish up and post their entries; though if a number of entrants...
My bold stance as a character designer is that even the most boring, blandest, "uninspired" objectmon will almost always be ten times more compelling to me as a monster than even the most well-designed animal Pokémon could ever be.
That's not just a reflection on my own personal tastes — I'm...
I like it both conceptually and visually, but it's a strange Pokémon to try using in battle — weird stats, abilities, and movepool all around. I respect it because I love the Steel type, but it's one of the mid-tier ones on my list. It unfortunately just gets outshined by cooler Bug/Steel mons...
Audrelite?
Close! I was thinking of BDF.
This user is so dedicated to their all-time favorite musician that they even changed their username to reflect that fact.
oof that sounds like a challenge. :stunfisk: I haven't been to enough weddings in my life to know where to start with writing one lol.
Though from what I've read of yours Kamo, you're really keen at researching the cultural aspects that go into your writing. I'm sure it will be great!
I agree...
Very much the same as above (it speaks volumes that the two don't even get separate Bulbapedia pages). Really interesting idea for a character, who only got a few lines of expository dialogue over two games and hasn't been acknowledged ever again. I always wonder if her and Anthea were...
I love Weezing so much. :bulbaLove:
It's just one of those Pokémon that I got attached to after using it on a team once, and it's been one of my favorites ever since. (Plus who doesn't like James's Weezing?) The Galarian variant is alright too, though oddly I feel like by adding all those...
Tamagotchi, actually, is one thing I really enjoy that is primarily marketed towards girls, which is always a surprise to me. Fun fact: Digimon was actually created as an equivalent of Tamagotchi "for boys"!
I think Love Live! kinda counts as this — being a very moe idol anime it does target...
Welcome Solar! Another OTGW fan, I see... good taste :chansey:
Looking forward to seeing some of your art if you decide to share it here! Hope you enjoy it here on the forums c:
The "Jerk with a Heart of Gold" trope comes to mind. It seems like every time a character like that shows up, they're already my favorite. :p
What's your favorite thing to do in the summer?
So many, but the first ones that come to mind right now are "Gotta Catch Ya Later!" and "Showdown at the Po-ké Corral". The former being a perfect finale for the best series, and the latter just being a fun character-driven episode that I love very much.
