Ash's Oshawott is a odd little thing. Much like Squirtle, it's MUCH to powerful to simply remain in that form without even SOME hint of Evolution. With Bulbasaur it was evolution refusal. But Oshawott should have evolved AGES ago. At the very LEAST when it learned Aquajet. Now it knows...
I concur. Not to mention, look at the battle Iris had against Ash with her Dragonite vs Ash's newly evolved Krookodile. The dragon went berserk, and everyone there could have been harmed if Ash didn't take it down. That should have disqualified her immediately. However, they are right, it...
Well, there's at least ONE evolved Water-Type that Ash owns, and that's Palipitoad.
Still, evolution isn't everything. Look at Pikachu on a good day, or Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Especially Bulbasaur who actually tied with a Fully-evolved grass starter after battling against an electric type...
And just think, that Serperior would have been humiliated by pokemon like Charizard, Snorlax, Infernape, bulbasaur, and especially Sceptile.
Sigh, these rivals aren't really rivals when we count Ash's past teams. His Sinnoh team would have wiped out the entire tournament.
But I digress...
Government Subsidies. Maybe something like Social Security that pays for Pokemon centers.
Or, it could be that when you get your trainers liscense, and money that you get from contests. Part of that goes to all the Pokemon centers in the region.
I thought Litwick and it's forms were cool, and then I saw what they did in the anime. Now I think they should be killed off for the betterment of mankind. Evil little SOB's.
Personal preference? Magikarp, goddamn is that thing useless. The only reason you want to capture it is because of Gyarados.
For the betterment of Mankind? I have a few, one being Litwick and it's evolutionary forms. That thing is nothing but trouble to humans, and they have caused multiple...
Yeah, I could go with the SPCA idea. Or perhaps they release them. Who knows?
Another question, how well do long-term domesticated (captured) pokemon do in the wild if they are released? You would think that would be easier, but then again, who knows these days? Pokemon as a whole are much more...
Speaking of the legendary pokemon capturing. We have a few people who have legendaries. Tobias with his Darkrai and Latios. (Hax). That one guy with a Heatran. And Brandon with his Regi-trio.
Interestingly enough, the captures of legendaries, legitimate capturing of legendaries, only really...
You know, that male Unfeazant was unimpressive when compared to Ash's. Sure, it was taken down by Pikachu, who had a type advantage, but honestly, Ash's bird was keeping up with it despite it being a lower level, and only 1st stage evolution compared to the second stage that the male Unfeazant was.
Misunderstood my ass. If ever there was a pokemon that should be killed with fire, it's this one. First off, it's normal form is menacing as it is. Second, unless it explicitly states that it does not eat humans and pokemon (ok, it could eat Pokemon, but not humans) or unless the world ends if...
That bothered me as well. In fact, it really bothered me. I think there's a general code of ethics that most pokemon owners should follow. You don't capture a pokemon that's tagging along in another person's party even if they haven't already been captured. I agree, that's something expected of...
For me, it's broken down into a few different categories.
For Ash's Single Pokemon, Pikachu and now, Oshawott, hold the crowns.
Oshawott especially, with his recent wins. Let's face it, while he has a arguably average win/loss ratio, I think it's honestly less average from what it appears...
Re: BW041-42: Don Battle Tournament
Excadrill is, as of now the WORST opponent Pikachu could face. Pikachu has no way of really hitting this powerful pokemon, and electric attacks aren't going to really work here. ((If they do, then they are directly contradicting what was happening with...
I have to say, he might not have battle SKILL, but he does have battle POWER. From what I've seen recently, Pokemon who are good in battles have at least one of these. Skill or Power. I'd have to say that Pikachu and Snivy have both Skill and Power. Tepig has Skill I suppose, but severely lacks...
I say that anyone who can neutralize or deflect a solarbeam should be considered a threat. Not to mention, the razor shell ohko against Timburr. (With that cocksure look on his face too).
With Oshawotts embarassing loss against Rogenrolla, yet his amazing victories against Palpitoad and Trip's Timburr, and looking back to his whole battlingrrecord,is he top tier?

Slip's Review.
Roggenrola, it just comes out of nowhere to bother Ash?
Oshawott... wow. You take that punishment from Palpitoad and his gang (of which Ash had caught... Palpitoad I mean) and then Aqua Jet him into...
re: BW 032 "Gamagaru, Maggyo! Battle on the Water!!" Review Thread
Thats quite odd, since with krabby back in kanto, the pokeball teleported automatically, like in the games. Guess they are doing something new.
