I just did it without Flash. It is an awful move. It could at least confuse a Pokemon or something. But eventually I just learned how to get through the cave without it. And you only ever need to do it once. A map may help.

I read somewhere that once you log onto Wi Fi with your game, it locks to that DS. I haven't been able to refind the info or anything else about it. Is this true? I was recently planning on getting a DSi XL and wanted to trade between my game cartridges, but I am worried it won't be working...
