I'm betting Akuroma has something to do with Kyurem. The whole asymmetrical blue wisp hair style (remember, Kyu's ice is also very asymmetrical) the icey looking diamond buttons on his coat, even the hexagon thing on the strap of the coat, snowflake/cryogonal like. I did this back on Heart Gold, got all the Pokemon Gen I through IV, then transferred to Black after I beat it, got all the gen V Pokemon excluding Keldeo Meloetta and Genesect. It's a lot of work but quite fulfilling to have a living Pokedex.

Gotta say GenII Ice Path is my all time favorite. I was excited to hear the remix in HG/SS and it paled in comparison.
