It wouldn't be hard to work around this. Some ways to do this off the top of my head: 1) When you encounter the Legendaries in Game, it essentially imports the version you already have rather than generating a new one 2) Subsequent Legendaries are discarded after completion of the storyline...

I say DS myself. Selling a 3DS game only sells to 3DS owners, which right now are nowhere NEAR as numerous as DS owners. Whereas selling a DS game sells to DS AND 3DS owners. Gen VI will be on 3DS though, no brainer there.

This sucks. I refuse to hack on principle, but they're getting to the point where its almost impossible to get these things legit. Most of the Arceus on GTS are likely hacks, and you have to be in Japan to get it legit. What's the point in not releasing these items, it doesn't cost them any...
