--Begin rant--
Alright, we all knew what Serena's starter is gonna be. But come on! i mean, seriously, As a grass-type lover i am very offended at this. Why nobody takes the grass starter?
We got what? 6 generations of pokemon and the only semi important characters -of whoose, 1 character...
Re: If Pokemon was directed towards an older audience, what do you think it'd be like
Ash would age
Writers couldn't get away with bad writings the way they get away now
Police would be taken more seriously probably, Instead of having a jenny for each town doing nothing except comic relief...
According to anime, "Pikachu can shock you, but otherwise it's cute and can be used as pets." Though ash's is strong enough to beat a Raichu which "Can shock with more than 100,000 volts, Enough to render a dragonite unconscious."
Well, if i had to guess, I'd say an average raichu is twice as...
This episode just didn't cut it for me..
Does writers ever stop and think, wtf does a group of 10 year old kids have to do with a rampaging pokemon, Where there are Nurse joys, jennies, Other kind of police and adults "Trained" For such situation. This makes as much sense as Me, a 100% complete...
You and me both.
I'd get very disappointed if they close Ash's story without resolving his master status.
However, If they do want Ash to re-enter Indigo league, I don't think He will fight gym leaders for badges again.. It will probably be like Going to palette and being told by Oak that Indigo...
Replacing characters make me question he writer's ability. They seem to like introducing a character but they don't know what to do with that character so they replace it.
Brock is a very good example of this.
Ash himself is also a victim, After years of development, they regress him in BW that...
I like to point out that how Pokemon Writers get away with bad writings by the "The show is targeted for kids" excuse. while MLP's target audience is little girls and half of the internet watches it ...
Every rescue episode makes me wonder:
Wouldn't it be alot easier if they just catched Braviary and sent him to another Pokemon center because they knew team plasma will be coming for it?
It could stay in the other pokemon center until it gets fully healed and before team plasma can track him...
Pikachu wants to evolve, but he has an illness that prevents him to evolve.
He hides his illness by telling Ash he doesn't want to evolve in fear that Ash abandons him if he tells Ash about his illness.
"...There is a problem with this one." Oak, EP001
I can stand the animations being recycled, But i think i can't stand them because how they were drawn (3D, digital)
I liked the old bubble beam, iron tail etc.
What recycling animations do to me is that they make the current animations even more unbearable for me.
Re: Which Villains team to you feel were handled best by the Writers? (not counting T
Is it just me or all teams' goal is to capture the whole world?
It feels a little weird to me, First it was team magma/aqua racing each other to capture the world, Ofcourse twerps came and stopped them...
The only thing i ask for is not to expose them in every episode like older sagas..
One plot per 10 or so episode works for me, And they better put on a good fight before blasting off again.
The worst/most humiliating loss for ash was Indigo league in my eyes, He was forced to use his pokemon to escape from team rocket right before the battle and Charizard clearing his back when Ash most needed him, He could definitely beat Richie.
The worst handled by writers was Unova ofcourse...
