Re: Shiny pokemon Usually yes. Reshiram and Zekrom were unobtainable as shinies due to a check, dunno if xerneas and yveltal are the same. Zygarde's probably possible to get shiny though.

Re: NPC with Froakie? If you have a noivern i have a froakie on the gts you can trade for. If you started with chespin, shauna will give you a froakie after you beat the game.
