Ah, that makes much more sense. Forgive me for misinterpreting, then :)
Yeah, since you point it out it does seem like there is a lot of "royalty" in Unova, at least as themes. Kinda strange given that it's like Poké-America.
Uh, serperior is the most royal of the 3 starters. It's literally based on french royalty, and its Japanese name incorporates the word "lord" on top of that.
Lol I don't even expect Pokemon to be shown at the direct. If it is, cool, nice surprise. But I highly doubt it.
MY dreams for the direct are animal crossing and pikmin 4 (light sobbing) but I'll take whatever I can get.
I wish I could play spoiler-free, but I know I'm going to get spoiled no matter how hard I try .so I guess I might as well spoil myself on my own terms.
Ok, after looking into it you ARE right about that. However, they are vary closely related so to say that a rabbit is a rodent isn't something that people should be criminalized for. It's like, the whole thing how a peanut isn't a nut. Like, yeah, any scientific nerd will tell you it's not a...
I tend to think that patterns and trends in Pokemon will never dictate any future installments. While something can seem like a solid rule, Game Freak has every right to break that rule when they see fit. Could we see new evolutions of old Pokemon? Of course, absolutely. Will we for sure? Who...
I find flaws with Combee when you think of it scientifically. Worker bees (the ones that collect honey) are females, so why aren't more Combee female? I get the thing with the rarity of evolving into a queen, but it's just... Odd. They should instead have the regular Combee (without a red mark)...
I feel like that last part is a very wrong approach. Excluding Pokemon for a reason like that can't go well. Just look at the wonders it's doing for LGPE. If a checklist is all you need in a game, then that's fine. Some of us don't care about the national Dex. Some of us transfer our Pokemon to...
I would say just have it auto save when you use the Pokemon center. That way it shouldn't affect anything like soft-resets.
Or just don't include it, I don't care either way tbh.
I like the idea, but I personally feel like trying to fit 4 elements/themes into 3 Pokemon is a little cumbersome. I'd rather they do like a legendary quartet that encompasses that idea, as much as I don't like legendaries.
Besides, fire, water, and grass sort of already account for the fire...
Oh, I guess I must have skimmed over the "soul song" part. Yeah, in a Pokemon game, I feel like music as a tool would have to be done VERY well or it would just be annoying.
And @Jackalantyrn I think it's almost ironic, really. The Zelda games where you DO play an instrument don't have music as...
Having musical themes doesn't mean it has to turn into a rhythm game or something. I mean, going off the Zelda example, yeah, some games have made you play an instrument (I love those games btw), but then there are others that don't. But look at, say, Breath of the Wild. The character Kass and...
I would LOVE a music-themed region/game. And I don't think the naming convention has to be perfect for it, either, since the musicality of it comes across. Besides, if they REALLY wanted to do "true" opposites, they should pick something like "harmony/discord/", or even more accurate...
To be fair, that is a matter of opinion. I could say I want a koala, but decide Komala was a failure and that they should make a new one. It doesn't just eliminate the fact that Komala IS a koala, because not everyone would agree with me (I do like Komala, I'm just using an example). I happen to...
You know, I had yellow, but changed it. Cuz I couldn't remember who originally said it, but I do remember Allura saying it when she takes over.
Anyway, not on topic :p
