With the exception of RBY which honestly didn't feel like it had much of a plot, I'd say just about every game afterwards has had a plot involving villains. It makes up the majority of the game. Things like relation to the rival or Pokemon like Suicune tend to be side-things because they aren't...
And the movies have gotten TCG sets to commemorate them. Big deal. The card furthermore was presented as a promotional card, and the TCG has done several promotional cards that featured unusual Pokemon. The TCG, Tretta and inclusion in Shuffle were merely anime marketing. It does not guarantee...
Because it clearly is supposed to be. Ash is not a character in the games whom Ash-Greninja is modeled on. If S/M decides to have a "bonding mechanic" where Pokemon share the appearance of the player character, we wouldn't get Ash-Greninja. We would get Player Character Name-Greninja. And unless...
The ghost girl is just an easter egg. Lysandre's fate is no different to the fates of villains like Giovanni and Cyrus. Malva clearly remained as an Elite Four member even after Team Flare was disbanded in the midst of calamity, so she's clearly not going anywhere. Eternal Floette is back with...
Whether a game feels "finished" or "unfinished" is purely a subjective thing. To Game Freak, Kalos is clearly already a finished region, and they must feel that way considering there is no Z version. To me, I'm satisfied with Kalos as it is. I admit I actually enjoyed BW more, but XY is already...
My point that S/M is not going to expand Kalos in any way, and that Kalos is going to remain lacking. Even if it didn't exist we still wouldn't get a "Kalos game." Gen 6 is done and over with now and it's time to move on.
A revisited region isn't going to solve those issues either. In fact it would only make it worse because the region would have to be chopped up and shortened to fit. Play GSC or HGSS and you'll see exactly how lacking, sectioned, and bordered off Kanto is.
People really need to let go of Kalos...
Game Freak is not going to make an entire region available post-game just because some of you want a proper Zygarde.
Even with new and better technology today, a revisited Kalos would still be chopped up and shortened to make it fit. 3D graphics are far more extensive than sprites and tilesets...
I didn't mention this in my last post, but I believe it was mentioned somewhere in an interview, I think by Masuda, that there won't be anymore post-game regions. If I knew where all these interviews were than I would look into it myself.
My entire point was that the inclusion of Kanto in GS...
Okay I admit that nowhere was it actually stated if Lance defeated Red or if Red simply gave up his title, but my main point was that a previous Champion (he lost his title to Blue in RBY) regained his title. It still heavily relates to RBY.
The idea of a post-game region was really only something that worked with GSC and its relation to RBY. It was a generation that was a direct sequel to a past one, taking place three years after the events of RBY, and it was one directly affected by those events. Team Rocket returned vowing...
I really wish the fact that schedule was bigger priority than ideas in game development. But if that were true, we would have already gotten Mighty No. 9 years ago instead of its three or four delays despite repeated promises on Concept's end. If that were true, The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U...
Just like how every generation absolutely must have a third version?
Game Freak is doing things differently now and moving on from the norm. Just because previous generations didn't have a dedicated battle frontier or facility in the first two versions, doesn't mean it's always going to be that...
