    I mean what i said earlier. If you spoiler yourself of the events of an episode before watching it, it significantly lessens the emotional impact of the episode.

    Which is why I, close to the end of XY, started watching episodes blind without going through screenshots or reading anything about it first. That way, any emotional impact won't be ruined. I suggest you try that, too.

    Quite frankly, yes. This episode introduced a new important character and gave a couple of really emotional moments.

    Yeah. I personally really liked how there was no dialogue during the goodbye sequence. That's the best way to handle a scene like that. The characters don't need to say anything when we can already see everything that makes the scene so emotional.

    I guess the "promise" in the title wasn't something that happened before, but rather during it. Definitely wasn't expecting that Rayquaza cameo.
