When I found my third Shiny Gogoat in a row during Violet. Seriously, I've just gotten out of a cursed ten day period where the only Shiny Pokémon I got were a trio of Gogoat. And I already had one Shiny Gogoat from New Years Eve so they're numbers 2, 3, and 4. I wasn't hunting any of them and...
This was something from a few years ago which still slightly stings today. A Stunfisk ended my longest Battle Maison streak.
By landing a Fissure.
On my Mega Gengar.
I can't even blame or hate the Stunfisk; that loss was entirely on my head for thinking I didn't need Levitate in this battle...
Putting it to sleep would be a little better, that and being frozen raise the catch rate more than paralysis. I've used Breloom's Spore many times throughout X and OR for this purpose.

I was trying to catch Kyurem, but my stock of Ultra and Dusk Balls were running low during the attempt and Timer Balls were also failing on me. During all this, Kyurem was asleep and at 1HP. Out of frustration, I hurled a Poke Ball at it....
*shake* *shake* *shake* *click* the Poke Ball...
I think my biggest FUUUU moment came from Emerald. I was battling Juan's Kingdra, and it kept spamming Double Team then Resting off that damage without fear. When Swampert finally caught and froze it with Blizzard, it thawed out in the same turn and froze Swampert with an Ice Beam then landed a...
