I doubt they'd cut it off at this point. They already said that Bank would be the method they would use from now on. I'm sure they'll just make an updated version for the Switch.

I see no reason why they couldn't make the app compatible with Switch. Because if I have to catch 1000 Pokemon again, I quit.
