You know, a genuinely scary thought when it comes to Go, what if the writers don’t view their writing of Go as if they’re giving things to him super easily and don’t find any flaws in how they’re writing him and actually think that he’s earned what he’s been given?

While, yes, it certainly is the writers’ fault for the issues, Go essentially is the embodiment of quite a few of those issues. So while it is their fault, Go’s definitely gonna get that focused dislike.

While it is a shame that these discussions tend to come with a negative viewpoint, in the end, that’s pretty much the consequence of the writers basically just doubling down on the problems that are had with the series rather than improving on them. And they show no signs of changing that any...
Considering it had only gotten an episode to itself after being a glorified shoulder plushie for over 20 episodes, I can’t really consider that to be anything to write home about. Personally, I find that that’s a major failing on the part of the writers especially compared to previous sagas.
