The day/time based events are one reason why I loved G/S/C/HG/SS so much. It added a unique level of authenticity that very few games offer. It gave me a reason to pick up and play on certain days, too. But I can get why some didn't like it. It's a case of convenience preferences I guess.

Fire/Fighting starter. As good a type combination as it is, Fire goes well with other types too. Lots of new legendaries. I like how minimal X/Y was in this aspect.
