I think that even then, Greninja wouldn't look different after transforming.

I'm sorry, but that alone won't make it completely impossible for Ash-Greninja to appear in Sun&Moon. After all, Ash-Greninja wasn't redesigned for its appearance in the demo, even though the PC was wearing different clothes.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

It makes sense if you think of it like this: It shows how everyone is doing while Ash's plane to Kanto is on its way.

Nope, the two Zygarde cores can clearly be seen behind it.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

Again, I know I'm grasping at straws here, but it didn't serve a purpose in Alola in the games either and yet we did get it in the demo and we're able to transfer it to the main game.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

We can't say that for certain yet. I know I'm grasping at straws here, but maybe Ash-Greninja being in the demo will tie into the Sun&Moon anime series somehow.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

Considering the Battle Bond changed Greninja into the Ash-Greninja that we say in XY&Z regardless of the PC's clothes, I'd say that the appearance of Ash-Greninja will not change, regardless of what Ash will wear in Sun&Moon. That is, if Ash's Greninja comes back in Sun&Moon.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

Having watched the subbed version, I understand it a little more now. Zygarde is going around Kalos to get rid of the last remaining vines created by Team Flare. However, even they can't sense exactly where those are, something that, for some reason, Ash-Greninja can.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

As I said before, the complaints are most likely from people who don't like how Greninja is released after everything it and Ash have been through. I'll admit, I didn't like it either, but...there's nothing to do about it, so all one can do is to get over it.

I like the DR3 reference there. Also, that was never said in the episode.

That does seem to be the case, which makes me wonder why Ash-Greninja even left.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

Who knows? Maybe they let him go later for whatever reason and he decides to go back to Ash, finding out he's in Alola somehow...though I think I'm grasping at straws here.

Review XY139: Farewell, Satoshi Gekkouga! Xerosicy's Counterattack!!

I suppose they're angry about Greninja/Gekkouga leaving after everything he and Ash/Satoshi have been through. That's only my guess, though.

I'm not sure, but I think it was something to stop Clemont from being hypnotized by Xerosic.
