Just finished a second playthrough the other day and can confirm that the Electrode/Avalugg are no where near the challenge of the Arcanine Noble imo...

I think there is technically a workaround to get through that fire ring, but like you said, I wasn’t ready to risk it lol. I just made sure to throw enough of the balms to get it weak enough before it got to that point.

I don't know why, but Arcanine seemed to give me the most trouble. I think it took me the longest to understand just when to dodge and whatnot. Electrode and Avalugg were strangely the easiest for me.
